Maybe not 100% in the right thread....but a couple thoughts on the end of our roster:

1. Now that we're staying much more status quo & roster spots limited...seems like it make more sense to leave Bolmaro in Spain one more year?

2. Wright & Knight...which I like both...also, though planned or coincidence that they mirror both our unsigned rfa's?

3. Like some has said...could see similar Naz-like story playing out where Knight plays himself onto that 15th roster spot....also what helped that is that they wanted to open a 2-way for Kelan Martin (who earned that on that same SL team)....is that guy Isiah Miller this time around?

If I had known SL started today I would have been there. Found out at noon AZ time and it's about a 4 hour drive. Do the Wolves play today?

Well if Wolves not playing today I wouldn't have gone. Maybe I'll take a day off work tomorrow and make the drive.

Many wanted us to get Vassell in the 2020 draft. He finished his rookie year with 5.5 points in 17 minutes a game. Not bad. Was his D as advertised? Jaden scored 6.8 in 24 minutes and shot better from the field but poorly from the line. Who would you rather have?

McD, Knight and Nowell have all looked terrific tonight. All of you doubters will have plenty to think about now. McD at the 3 is meant for him.

Knight is a total stud. Undrafted on a 2 way he may start at PF in the future. Find a way to see him in action tonight on replay.

Nowell with 24-6-4 shooting 9 for 19.

Doubters better wake up.

I agree and want to add

Nowell is transitioning to PG and showing flashes of being successful in the transition. He and Bolmaro will likely share responsibility on the second unit for running the offense, which means Nowell shooting and facilitating well is huge for our second unit.

MCD can play the 3 or 4 on offense, but his ability to defend 1-4 is so huge. His length bothers smaller players and his speed bothers larger ones. This kid is special, and has not come close to his ceiling yet.

Knight is in a weird spot right now. There is a log jam at the 4 but most of our 4s are guys we don’t necessarily want. Juancho was awful until well after the ASB and even then was inconsistent last year. Layman must have done some weird science because he became the invisible man. Vanderbilt showed some serious potential, but he needs to improve his hands of stone before he can be a serious rotation player. I am not saying he needs to consistently score (though that would be nice,) but he cannot turn the ball over every time someone passes to him. With those 3 and MCD at the 3 you have room for Knight. If you move MCD to the 4 now you need to decide between V8, Juancho, and Knight. Layman is likely the 3rd string.

Does anyone know why Culver isn’t playing this summer? Is he hurt?

This is why I am confused about why the Wolves met with McLaughlin as soon as FA opened up. There was also the report Nowell would be given a larger role this season.
