Admit it or not.. We need dlo to be efficient and playing at a high level to make the playoffs. Most of Finch's Ws came from Dlo playing well. Dlo also need to pick up the slack on his shooting.. Hope the time off from injury can help him regain his shooting touch.

I'd give it 15 more games before I burn it all to the ground, even though right now I already pretty much have made up my mind that this team isn't going to get the job done. 4 notable players that I"ll point out that has value and what I would do.

KAT- where do we even begin? He isn't the problem, he is part of the solution, but he isn't the solution. He needs to be relegated to 2nd or 3rd option if we're to compete for a play off spot. KAT just doesn't have that ability or mentality to lead an offense. That's okay though. He's still a damn fine player. Someone mentioned moving him to PF and I agree 100%. Been saying it for years now. KAT isn't a center. He hates contact. Hell, he didn't even want to post up Batum last game. Prior to that, he couldn't even move little 'ol Cole Anthony in the post. Just give it up and make him a full time spot up shooting PF. If not, I'm open to trading him.

DLo- Get value for him while we still can before other teams figure out he really is meant to be a 6th man. He's a streaky shooter who can take over games when hot. Not a pg. Can't pass. Can't run an offense. Surprisingly, his defensive effort has been great this year.

Beasley - The good news is that he only has 1 guarantee year left on his contract after this season (the last year is a team option), so team may be willing to take the gamble. Right now he's a negative asset. Was hoping he could step it up, but it's obvious the dude just isn't that good. Can be a decent shooter to have off the bench, but not for $15 mill.

Beverly - Teams will always welcome a guy like Pat Bev. I actually rather keep him. A young team needs a feisty leader to teach them the ropes, but if someone is willing to throw a protected FRP for him, I'd do it.

The rest of the team is trash and will garner nothing. Well Bolmaro is still a question mark, but if he can't get minutes over guys like Okogie, Jmac, or Prince, then I'm having my doubts. That's the state of the team and that's reality.

LOL that happens one out of every 4 or 5 games for DLO, so that does not make a playoff team.

False. Everyone will grill you. Simmons isn't magically fixing everyone's shooting and spine. Hell he can't even fix his own shooting and spine.

I don't mind people saying we should start over and build around Edwards. But I'm not ready to anoint McDaniels as our second-best player. That's simply a recipe for disaster. He hasn't even proven to this point to be ready to be the third or fourth best player. That is what concerns me most about any blow-it-up scenario.

Think about how you guys say "could be a playoff team". With this play-in system 66% of the league gets into the playoffs, an incredibly low bar. If we can't even do that, then of course you have to blow it up!

lol wtf I remember two to three games into the season everyone was telling me, no we're good with the team we got, just wait for Beasley and others to get the shooting percentages up. And now it's a **** storm and people want to burn it to the ground. Why would they trade KAT now? This is the time to add more talent to see if the ship can be turned around because Wolves got some really nice pieces. Go get Hield.

Edwards alone is worth more than Simmons.

So much more, in fact, that the Wolves wouldn’t even put him on the table, regardless of what PHI would add. And this stance was made two months ago, while Simmons trade value has decreased because of his further antics (refusing to play while under contract).

When the over under came out for this season someone said that 37 wins was realistic. I honestly don't think this team can play .450 ball on the season much less .500.

Hopefully with the new owners we can just wipe this slate clean and build a better team.

I honestly would not be surprised if only Ant, Bolmaro and McDaniels are kept.

I think the point people are not talking about is that rebuilds are slow and financially they are losers. Rebuilding teams don’t get a lot of national games. They don’t sell out arenas, and they don’t pull in big money sponsors the way playoff teams do. When Taylor owned the Wolves this wasn’t as much of an issue. But trying a rebuild around 2 or 3 unproven 2020 draftees and taking several money losing years to do it is just not sound for the new owners. They bought into a team they believe is finished with the rebuild and ready to compete. The fastest way to lose basketball in Minnesota is another failed rebuild. Even if the team doesn’t move this time, if Ant fails to deliver we could end up losing it when they blow that team up.
