Meh it still was a pretty low percentage shot. Ingram is a fine shooter but he isn't steph or lillard. That was way behind the line.

Who cares about Zion? Need to worry about this team first

Not even mad, we deserved to lose and New Orleans played out of their minds. They had an answer for everything we did. We need this win cause we got a really tough road ahead but if we want to be a playoff team at some point we are going to have to man up and beat some really good teams.

That time is now, we have to get some wins, can't afford to have defensive lapses like tonight. If Beasley wasn't hitting his shots again this would have been a blowout loss.

We are not good enough to act like we are elite. If you don’t do the work you don’t get the W and we didn’t do the work. Also they got away with a ton of contact on both sides of the ball.

Shout out to Ant who took over in the fourth. I didn’t love everything he did, but I loved enough to be damn proud.

Okogie shouldve just stayed with Ingram on that last play. He got too much separation on that one

I don't know why this team acts like that.

Now we get the Grizz who are on a 10 game winning streak

Question: why Ingram got hot? Low team effort / defensive scheme / poor execution? Were V8 / MCD directly assigned to guard Ingram?

Wolves beat them by over 40 last time maybe wolves have their number now? This was such a horrible loss, two losses to a bad NO team, right up there with the dallas loss with all their starters out and Orlando loss.

Oh no is it bad? I didn't get to watch the game. Shame on me for not having faith in Finch's rotation.

V8 fouled out at end of game. I didn't really have a problem with the end of the game. We had good intensity and effort, and came back from down 10 even though NOP made their last 9 3-pt shots.

My problem was probably more with the intensity and level of effort the first three quarters. We weren't awful, but it was clear at the end of the game that we stepped up our game to try and win, meaning if we had played that hard the entire game, we likely would have won. To give NOP credit, they shot well and played hard the entire game, and they took advantage of us being a little off the first three quarters to be able to steal this game.

It's a bad loss but not really horrible. Pelicans have been pretty much as competitive as us in the last 2o games, they are a .500 team at this point which is pretty much what we are too. We should still beat them with our talent but they were otherworldly hot and we failed to defend and match their energy.

We have to show up to play every game. We were actually shooting pretty well for much of the game that kept us in it. If it was one of our (typical this year) games where we are bricking shots left and right we would have lost by 10+ points. We got outworked in on many possessions.

Last night was not his fault but KAT has to get better with his frustrations. He gets too emotional when he feels he doesn't get calls. I notice he gets really upset against JV and I think its because JV gets away with a lot of stuff on offense that Towns doesn't, he needs to realize that complaining about it only makes it worse though. Jonas will just keep doing it to piss him off and refs will keep letting him do it because they don't want to be dictated to about the way they do their jobs. Towns just needs to shut up. I've said this 20 times so I wont beat on it too much more.

This is my takeaway.

The concern isn't that we lost. The concern is we fell into our old habit of not showing up for a "weaker" opponent. I hoped Bev would fix that, it didn't. I hoped they'd stopped doing it given how we were curbstomping the tanking teams, it hasn't.

At least we're making some progress in terms of that but if anyone wants playoffs, they NEED to turn this around. We almost beat them despite everything, it would have been a comfortable (not blowout, but comfortable) win if we'd just showed up to play from the start.
