You can play the best defense in the world, (not saying we did) and if they throw it up and it goes in, there isn't a damn thing you can do about it.

Chicago was unconscious.

What the point of Reid? Too weak, small and slow. Why is he even getting a single minute ?

Off-season trade of KAT is possibly the only way to bring back enough talent to move beyond this mediocre lineup. He’s worth more than Harden.

We aren't trading KAT to be a shithole bottom feeder for another decade.

The Bulls put on a clinic. I saw a stat where they have yet to beat the really good teams but damn, it's hard to believe seeing them in action. Their execution was off the charts today.

We did a lot of things well tonight but just got beat down the stretch. We can improve on plenty. No shame losing to the Bulls tonight who were on fire.

They shot 63% from the field, 45% from 3.

And then there was the officiating.....

Derozan put on a clinic against us.. Vanderbilt and McDaniels defense are ovverated. We need an upgrade at pf. Russell needs to put more effort in staying in front his man. And not slack off his man so much. I highly doubt he'll ever be an allstar again. Too many good guards in the west. I think he got complacent after earning that max contract. Hasn't been playing at allstar level since getting traded from bklyn.

He'll miss a few games due to sore knee. Probably softest star player in nba history on both ends of the game.

Yeah, I get being frustrated but this is not the game to start looking for heads.

They're a better team than us. DeRozan is having a MVP level season right now. I knew this would be a loss going in.

That said, losses like these certainly help to highlight exactly what we need to do in the offseason.

The defensive problems currently are more due to team defense and constant overhelping rather than individual defense...it's actually insane how unneccessarily some of Wolves players overhelp on defense and the possession leads to wide open 3. These issues can be corrected..I am hoping Finch and coaching staff can look over the film and make these adjustments post ASB

They are a very good team no doubt but they don't shoot like that every night. They made everything in sight.

We'll beat them the next time we see them.

The rebounding weakness hurt us again tonight. Dlo and Bev only had 1 board each. Coby White had 6 alone.

Our reserves mostly lost the game late 3rd early 4th when the Bulls went on a huge run.

Just another Wolves loss vs an opponent with a full roster…

I'm not sure it's the rebounding that kills us, I think it's just defence overall. And that's magnified by the bench.

The only positive defensive player coming off the bench is Jaden. All of the others (Prince, Reid, McLaughlin and Beasley) are below average at best. No team can afford that.

Also, does anyone know why Nowell isn't playing anymore?

Yep. That concerns me. Still, Chicago played an outlier game.

Losing was really a shame considering the great games by Kat and especially Ant.

You're right on the bench defense in terms of not competing as they could.

Nowell is banged up with a lower leg issue. Finch has had a quick hook with him of late which might be a defense issue. That's my impression. It surprises me because he isn't a bad defender overall. I have high hopes for him.

So glad we didn’t see the need to upgrade our starting or bench lineups. Who needs defensive rebounding, consistent scoring, or size, you have CHEMISTRY.

How does a team of professionals let an opponent shoot 63%? Embarrassing.
After an embarrassing defensive performance against a team with 3 new players who didnt have one practice together.
