Thunder let SGA operate. Why do we never let our young guy operate when it matters????
Since his charge that wasn’t a charge. Ant has had exactly ZERO shots.

Ant gets a lot of hype but Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is that dude right now and still doesn't get enough credit. If he was on the Lakers he would be a face of the NBA, dude is a great guard and he is bringing the noise every night.

I think an athletic 4 who could defend would have been nice. That said, I think Myles Turner could have worked.

Edwards would be one of the greats if he averaged about 10 FTs per game. But nba refs are the dumbest soo

His carelessness with the ball is stunning as well. Especially when it matters most.

His game would be next level if he could get 7-10 FT's a game.

We make SGA look like God and others look like HOF.. Just horrible defense and rebounding without Gobert.

Unbelievable 4th. Completely abandoned Ant after a horrible charging call by the refs.

This is on Finch. You have a closer, you go the the closer, simple as that.

Well it was a nice 1 game vacation from being an utter embarrassment.
Really dumb move by Gobert cost us dearly. We gave up so many points on technicals and flagrants.

We were a really dumb and immature team tonight.
Other than the Ant charge that didn't get reversed I didn't disagree with a whole lot that was called.
But all those technicals make the league look bad and games not fun to watch.
Refs need to let more go like Jaden getting T'd up for bouncing the ball off the support, that was weak.
Fans pay to watch the players not the referees.

Ant isn't going to get the LeBron whistle for that body contact he draws as a big strong guy until he moves up a couple tiers as a player. He got that call a couple times tonight, and a couple times he didn't. Superstars play through that and cash the bucket.

SGA can score and Giddey is a good all-around player. But to give up 135 pts, and 38 in the 4th quarter. Ugh, awful.
You have to give OKC credit for playing hard and together and making us take tough shots, but most of their players wouldnt get a single minute on a playoff team. But Minnesota is where guys who are struggling with their shot come to Rehab.

Russell looked good for a while, then turned into the Russell we all know in the 4th, throwing the ball away and jacking up 3 pointers.

I hated Finch's rotations. Going small was a mistake, could have used Garza's offense and size with that 2nd unit.
Went with Ant the whole 3rd to get the lead back and Russell quickly burned it down while Ant sat on the bench.
Playing Moore less was a mistake. Too many guys playing out of position led to a lot of broken possessions on each end.

After watching this mess the chance we finish last in our own division is starting to look real.
We're only a half game out of the basement right now and the easy part of our schedule is behind us.

And we ran him out of town!

I was the least of them. Andrew was easily a way above average basketball player with big upside. We had expectations placed on him that he couldn't reach which wasn't all his fault.

Now that he can be just one of the boys look at how his game has sprouted. He's just what we hoped he'd be.

Maybe it was us and how we handled him that is the issue.

We tried everything with the guy. Multiple coaches and multiple approaches, where he was the #1 guy, the #2 guy, #3 guy, point Wiggins, and we brought in Jimmy thinking he’d mature Andrew and Karl. At some point, you gotta say, “it’s not me, it’s you” and break up.

I’m pretty sure that if he stayed in Minnesota, he would never have become this version. It also helps me sleep and night when I see DLo throw three passes to no one in particular, breaking open a close fourth quarter for OKC. If I thought we traded the new Wiggins for this DLo, I’d jump off a roof.
