It must be hard on these kids to not look at the camera during the long, live close ups.

ESPN had the camera on Clingan for 30 seconds ..he must have thought he would be picked 5 and traded. Then Woj hears DET is going to keep the pick and draft Holland, and they rush to set up a live camera on him. I wonder if Clingan sees all this?

Right.

I just don’t see it. That euro league he was in is like U20 or something isn’t it?

Three Frenchmen in the top six picks?! Rudy Gobert is the true "game-changer" on the Timberwolves roster!

Portland is building a "too big" team with Clingan + Ayton. How many 1st they now gotten for the Lillard trade with Brogdon turning into another mid 1st.

Ayton will be shopped around I'm sure.

They're sure milking this now that they made it onto 2 days. 1 hour in and not even through the top 10. Smh.

Ayton is no part of their future. I love what they did today though, needed defense, acquired a very good two way forward in Avdija and a defensive monster in Clingan. Add them to Scoot, Sharpe, and Simons in the backcourt; if they keep Grant and can get anything positive out of Ayton/Williams, they might be decent this year and very good down the road.

How? Trading Gobert? :D - never minded. It's reported but he is supposed to be a low 1st (in the twenties) according to NBAdraft.net

Damn ok Rob will be electric offensively but I wanted McCain because he has more potential defensively.

Ayton and Simons are off the books in 2 years, they are looking at the future with that pick.
IMHO 80% of the guys taken in the lottery this year are going to bust, Clingan is probably the highest floor guy in the lottery.
