I think after 15 games we start to have a better idea of the team level. And it's not looking good. This team is a complete mess for the moment. Players like DDV and NAZ are not good when they can't shoot as tonight. ANT does his job but he is clearly not ready to be MVP level. Rudy does his Rudy things but at his age, won't improve and i can see him getting frustrated soon . Randle take care of his stats...NAW is not a PG.... Mike is the only one able to put some structure in the game but he is 37 and slow down....will be a tough battle for the play-in unless Connelly find a trade to make us better.
So disappointing after last season. I still believe KAT was not good enough to allow us to win a title but compare to what we got right now, he is MJ...
Last point, Finch has to look at himself in the mirror as he is not coaching well since the beginning of the season...

Really wish we'd trade Gobert. You get paid to defend the rim and he is not affecting anything out there

This feels more like 22-23 season than 23-24 season...this team also badly needs Donto to get his shot back

Thought you didn't see things this way.. ?

 I'm trying to give a benefit of the doubt for as long as I can. And for the record, I don't think I ever expected a repeat of 56 wins, before or after the trade. And honestly, the WCF was probably unlikely too. But those are just playing the odds, I don't really think I've gone doom and gloom quite yet. Tonight was not good though.

DDV is good at Malik Beasley role

Wolves are asking him to do stuff he sucks at, he shouldn't be dribbling or creating so much

Not sure how. The identity if the team that went to the WC finals was completely changed weeks before the season. He’s gotta try to fit these pieces together now. Took 2 years to get it all fitting after the last massive roster turnover. Finally got there and Now it’ll be the same.

The chemistry is way off. KAT's locker room presence may be understated. He seemed to bring a lot of positivity. I bet Anderson is missed as well.

Maybe Randle is the D'Lo of PFs. When Gobert pouted after the 3 second call. I felt that Randle force fed Rudy the ball inside a couple of times. There was a dunk there but also a couple of missed better play opportunities

No excuse for this performance. Toronto played last night...

But Klomp says we all should have a positive outlook despite this poor start to the season. After all, the Boston Celtics improved after trading Smart.

If the only solution is to feed more Rudy inside, we are done ! For one or two easy dunks, there will be at least the double amount of TO.

The game was lost on the Rudy sequence 85 all and Rudy demands a pass inside, Randle refuses, Rudy intentionally turns the ball over. Then after Ant yells at him, Rudy gives up a stupid foul for 2 free throws. All vibes were awful and the energy just died. This team is not happy, and that leads to effort and energy mistakes which loses games to bad teams.

Sources: Crunch challenged Anthony Edwards in Timberwolves meeting

Crunch challenged Edwards to play better, calling out the 2023-24 Media MVP about not getting up "for bad teams" and how it impacts the locker room, from other players to the coaching staff, to wins sources briefed on the meeting told ESPN.

Edwards accepted the messages sent in the meeting, sources said, but he stated that he is sometimes confused about what the Timberwolves are doing when they trade away a bona fide baller for a bricklayer and the PF version of DLO.

More details will come as this story develops.

Gobert was open many times in the game and not getting the ball. That was brewing all game long. I called it earlier they need to get him the ball more often. Randle's game has taken away many of Gobert's touches, especially now you have two players instead of just Ant that don't pass the ball.

The only way to save this team now is start Naz so it's like playing when Towns was hurt last year and has Randle be the bench score and not worry about passing. When Conley not playing maybe they should play Ingles - the poor man's KA to facilitate some ball movement.
