Actually rigged for Minnesota, I can't believe Dallas lost that challenge.

Are we watching the same play. The out of bound challenge wasn't call by Finch. We won anyway. He actually call a good play after the timeout for once.

Dallas was playing sloppy and we were scoring. We got the ball from them that was questionable to anyone watching so why call a timeout on a play that could go either way? He just got lucky that the refs gave it to us.

I don't know how Gobert missed two rebound chances. We got lucky to maybe win this one

I can't help but think this 8 man rotation has something to do with us giving up leads in the last half of the game - Are we just gassed at the end?

Glad to get the win - Mavs have been good without Luka this season

+1 Don't understand how Rudy can't grab a rebound but just throw the ball...Good win. Think we got tired at the end and Kyrie play well.

Jaden attacking equals career high in scoring. Our offense so desperately needs PG play. We also have to start boxing out. So many late 2nd chance points keep opponents in the game.

One thing that I just don't get is the minutes distribution between Julius and Naz. Naz has been the better player over the season to date and massively better over the last month, but still gets 8 minutes less per game. At a minimum they should be getting equal minutes at this point.

A large part of it is trying to trade Randle. TC wants Randle to play full rotation minutes to showcase what he can do. Another part is that Randle is playing more point forward and Naz gets tunnel visioned. I don’t agree with the decision, but I can see what Finch was trying to do. One way or another I expect Naz to get a significant upgrade in both minutes and role come Feb 6th.

It is better than that. I checked, we play Dallas 3 total times. We have now won 2 of the 3 and secured the tie breaker for the season. Could come in handy in April.

They actually extrapolate out very similar to each other, when you even out the minutes and/or possession data.

I think if I had to look for an on-court reason why, I think Randle is better at pressuring the defense by driving. Reid is a great spot-up option, but hasn't gotten his driving game going quite the same this season.

And yes, I do think the contract situation/trade deadline lurking probably plays a role as well.

I know I’m being petty, but if Jaden was going to have a great game, I’m glad it was against the Mavs. Over on the Trade Board, Texas Chuck (who’s a great mod), is always riding us for having such a high opinion of Jaden and his potential. Good to see him play so well against Chuck’s favorite team!

In the words of Stone Cold “Hell Yeah.”

Jaden showed you what I have been saying since the season started, get him out of the corner. Yes he might hit a 3 every so often 1/5 yesterday, but he scored 24 points shooting from inside, running in transition and hitting free throws. This wasn’t a traditionally good Jaden game where he hits his 3s, grabs an occasional rebound, and plays great D. This is what any other team would get out of Jaden semi regularly because they played to his strengths.
