He played 45 mins yesterday while his back still hurts, so I am betting on he will be out with general soreness tomorrow and try to get ready for game 3?

NAW really struggled to find his shot in the first round. He also shot poorly last year in the postseason.

I'm quite confused as to why jaylen didn't get more run at the end of the year. Very good ts%, and a stud defensively.

We have the luxury of seeing what this guy's got under pressure. He may be a very good option on jimmy.

Finch is worse than adelman was with rookies.

Last time I’ll mention it, I saw something that said Jimmy hasn’t played here in almost 1300 days. Since 2021 or something

I'm still thinking we are the underdogs for 2 reasons :

- They got Curry who can win you one or two games alone.
- Usually we always start rusty after a long break.
I won't be surprised if we struggle game 1 and after that, it will be a different story.

Hope they prepare it well and prove me wrong.

Correct.

Will the wolves be the only home team to win?

I had the Draymond Green podcast pop up in my YouTube suggestions. I was curious so I skipped to the part about our matchup. Baron Davis said “Jimmy Buttler has not played in Target Center since November 24th, 2021.” Ladies and gentlemen this is why Jimmy will always be General Soreness.

The new power rankings heading into round 2 is interesting. You should check it out below, but the one thing I will quote that I found intriguing is “The Warriors were the worst rebounding team in the first round, and their next opponent (Minnesota) led the first round in offensive rebounding percentage. So the glass will be their No. 1 concern when the conference semifinals begin on Tuesday.” This means we out-rebounded Houston on the offensive glass, which bodes well for round 2.

I might have underestimated Golden State. I felt we would beat them pretty comfortably but I am seeing some good analysis of why they should be really tough and could beat us. They also did beat the number 2 seed and Houston was a damn good team. I still feel confident in this matchup but I don't want to be blindsided again like I was with Dallas. I seriously thought we were going to destroy Dallas last year and I was horribly wrong.

The Warriors have been really good since the Butler trade and between Butler, Curry and Green they have proven playoff performers. Wolves fans have been confident about the matchup, and I get it and mostly agree, but the Warriors are absolutely too good to be overlooked.

Feel like they really didn't say much. Baron was just babbling honestly and of course he's going to go with his boys' team.

The term underdog is for who is expected to lose. We are expected to win by the vast majority so we can't be the underdogs. If you expect us to lose we could be your own personal underdogs. What evidence do you have that we always start rusty after a long break. How many days does it take to be a long break?

We were very worn down after a brutal series with the Nuggets last year and still may have beat Dallas if it weren't for some nearly miraculous clutch shooting by Luka. GSW is the team coming off a pretty brutal series with Houston. As long as Ant and cast are over their bumps and bruises we should win. Not to overlook GSW, but we should win.

Again - we can't let GS get by with playing small. We need to have ways to make them pay for going small. Hopefully, we can do the same thing we were able to do against LAL - get one of Randle, Ant, Conley, McDaniels, DDV, Reid, NAW, Clark, or Shannon to get past their guy and into the lane and watch their undersized team scramble to recover.

tbf Dallas was also coming out of a very physical series against OKC...they played more games than Wolves up until WCF. So I don't think fatigue explains everything. Our star players played below their capabilities offensively and struggled with Mavs bigs..especially KAT..also Mavs played better than Wolves in clutch time

What you call playing better in the clutch is what I referred to as nearly miraculous shooting by Luka.

This is fair. Overconfidence is never good. However, my confidence comes because I feel like I can point to ways Minnesota can counter most of the levers Golden State can pull.

He actually picked us. He said if the Warriors steal one in Minnesota he could then maybe take the Warriors in seven, but he didn’t want to say that he favors the Wolves overall. Another great comment was Draymond essentially saying if you hit him across the arms he has the right to hit you in the face. The whole thing was silly.

Yes, at this point in the year no one should be overlooked. I'm confident we will play well and if we do, we should win the series, but Timberwolves. . .
Your 2026-2027 NBA Champions!! :D
