He has really good speed, but it’s all north-south.
I’m not surprised the Bulls are better without him and LaVine.
He is a bit intriguing though. There is a chance he turns into an All-Star caliber player.

This is questionable at best. Ja has never played next to a superstar. His best teammates at any given time have been JJJ or Bane. Putting Ja with Ant would create a significant shift in the gravity both players experience. It would lead to many more open shots and could change the way Ja scores. While I admit the move would not be without risk, I am not willing enough to discard the reward potential to the extent of demanding picks as well as the best player in the deal. His contract is not that bad or that long.
He's a POS and a cancer. We immediately become a losing team if we acquire his services.
Sounds like you know Ja personally and he slept with your wife and stole your lunch money.
Despite all Morant’s flaws - Wolves don’t have assets to pry him away from Grizzlies and beat other teams offers for Ja. I mean without gutting the team. Then it becomes a question of why gut the team for a questionable person in Morant and questionable fit with Edwards.

The fact that the same posters in here were more forgiving and sympathetic to Miles Bridges than Ja Morant is wild.

I know you were not quoting me so I am confident you were not speaking about me. I don’t believe anyone on this board (at least I hope,) would ever sink low enough to want Miles Bridges on the Wolves. Domestic abusers belong in prison, not making millions as pro athletes.

I wonder if that would change playing with Ant? Also I wonder if we bought in cheap and can correct some of his attitude issues if we wouldn’t get good resale value. The question is whether our culture rubs off on him, or his rubs off on us.

I don't think so with Minnesota. Maybe going to Miami, BOS, SAS, or LAL would - teams with well established culture and championships.

With Morant he has never shown any remorse or contrition. He continues to do the same things over and over and over again. You understand that when you aim a laser targeting device at a person you are making a threat on their life. I believe in forgiveness. It's not my job to punish people. I leave that to the courts. To get my forgiveness show me a change and pay the time for whatever crime you committed. I'm more forgiving of Miles. I'm not saying I want Miles on my team.

Why?
How is using a laser pointer worse than what Bridges did?
On June 29, 2022, Bridges was arrested in Los Angeles for felony domestic violence and was released on $130,000 bond.[78] He allegedly assaulted Mychelle Johnson in front of their two children. According to Johnson's hospital report which she posted to Instagram, she was an "adult victim of abuse by male partner" which included assault by strangulation, brain concussion, closed fracture of nasal bone, contusion of rib, multiple bruises, and a neck muscle strain. On July 19, Bridges was charged with one felony count of injuring a child's parent and two felony counts of child abuse. The following day, he pled not guilty to all three charges at his arraignment. On November 3, he pled no contest to the felony domestic charge and was sentenced to three years of probation. The other two charges were dismissed.
In October 2023, Bridges was charged with violating his probation and protection order after an October 6 incident where he allegedly threw billiard balls at Johnson's car, breaking her windshield while their children were inside the car. Bridges' current girlfriend is also alleged to have kicked the car while yelling in Johnson's direction. Bridges turned himself in on October 13 and was released upon paying $1,000 bond. At this time, Bridges had an outstanding warrant stemming from January 2023 that had yet to be served.

I know what Miles did and it was bad. He has changed. Ja has not. Not changed one Iota. Do we know Ja just used a laser pointer? What makes you so sure it wasn't an actual weapon equipped with a laser targeting device? Based on my knowlege of Ja I'm inclined to believe the latter more than the former. I'm more sympathetic and forgiving on Miles. He did the crime and did the time. You might not think he did enough time/received enough punishment. Miles received the sentence that the courts deemed appropriate. I'm not a court of law and it isn't my job to dole out punishment. What good does continuing to punish Miles do? Should we eliminate him from doing the job he is best suited for? He has children to support.
