I made my case for picking him #1 last week. I think he's the one guy in this class who could be a true superstar at both ends of the court.

1. Rose
2. Beasley
3. Lopez
4. Mayo
5. Randolph
6. Well, lets hope we're not 6 or below. :D

I'm willing to stop saying that the people who have Rose going #1 are crazy now.

Rose is now my #1 option by a long shot...with lopez #2.

he is making dj augustine look like a punk. 16 pts, 6 reb and 9ast and holding dj to 4 of 17 shooting. awesome. games not over yet either.

Beasley is 1 or 2, no other opinion is acceptable.

whatever dude. first off, any opinion is acceptable and your statement is ridiculous considering your a mod and secondly, I am speaking in terms of our current position in the draft. Either we get lucky and get a top 2 pick (where rose is my guy) or we stay at 3 or 4 (where lopez is my guy). Hence, rose then lopez.

This is the truth, and at the moment I think Lopez and Mayo have to be 3 and 4, not necessarily in that order.

Kevin McHale is scouting Gallinari in Italy. He attended Milano-Biella this evening... Danilo finished a so-so game (for his standard) with 14 pts, 6 rebs, 3 asts and 3 stls.

His statement is accurate of almost every draft guru and people in the know. Also, Worm is not a wolves mod. He does have a good basketball mind, and I enjoy arguing with him on various things. Your logic of luck=1/2 rose or unlucky=Lopez is not a draft board. Your comment made it appear like Rose=1, Lopez=2. Which is not the logic any of the draft people are speaking. Lopez is not even a dark horse for the top 2 (If, yes, if there had to be a dark horse it would either be Randolph or Gallinari. Some euros get overhyped, and Randolph has Rose potential)

To speak for Worm, I think he ment "option" not opinion. Yes you can have whatever opinion you want, (does not make it logical, but know yourself out) but Beasley/Rose are the sure 1/2

If anythings, I would say this means "shop McCants." If the Wolves draft Rose, I would expect Foye to be the starting 2/ backup 1.

Thanks for the update. Like many of us I have not seen Gallinari play besides clips. I am concerned how his defense and rebounding will translate to the next level. Whether at the 3 or 4. But he is 19 and has such an amazing skill package. He has also gone against much better defenses then any of the college players. Also, does DG mean Brewer is a 2? Or do we actually think DG can play the 4 with Al at the 5?

Havent we killed this issue? If we draft Rose is means "bye Bassy" we can easily run a very, very niiiiice 3 guard rotation of Rose/Foye/Shad with FOye bouncing back and forth from the 1 and 2. It also allows us to have Shad off the bench like he has been.

mmmm, i don't know about everybody else but i'd rather have Mccants at SG than Foye. Also, personally i'd rather keep both mccants and foye. This of course means a goodbye to telfair but i think we could have a potential great backcourt rotation with rose and mccants starting and foye being the combo guard off the bench.

That sounds great to me. I think it opens up the possibility that we could shop Foye or McCants for a big, but it would have to be a damn good deal for us to consider it.

I think everyone over estimates Foye and Shaddys ability to guard most NBA 2's. Or even 1's? Foye barely stayed in front of Derron all game today.

My stance has always been shift brewer to the 2, the 3 guard rotation is vastly overrated on this board.

That is completly wrong. FOye did a great job staying in front of Deron today. Foye has been playing very, very good defense. Shad can defend, his problem is he gets dumb fouls. I do not see anyone questioning these guys defense or desire to defend. Our defensive problem is we lack another big man next to Al to play windex and goalie.

The 3 guard rotation of Shad/FOye/ROse would be young and very effective. I do not see us overrating that in anyway. I think Brewer could be interesting as a 2, but his shot needs to vastly improve and so does his handle. I think he can get those to the point where he plays the 3 well, but the 2 is another thing. Also, that makes a hole at 3 and at 5.

btw, here is an article of DG

If the coaches thought he was doing a great job I think they would have played him more. Foye has generally played very good defense against PGs this year. But he has been matched up against some SG's defensively and he can't hang imo. He does seem to outrebound every guard he goes against, but I dont think hes aggressive enough in general.

Also, if the wolves do draft Rose imo Foye becomes redundant. He works best with the ball in his hands, so will Rose.

You should also always lead with your "best" trade piece. In my view Rose supplants Foye's usefulness, and Foye has shown enough to return something decent.

Dont overlook the fact that it pretty obvious the coaches dont think the foye + shad backcourt is a good idea since its always..... Jaric + x
