Did Julius Randle’s wife say something about them liking Minnesota?

I think this has been an underrated effect of the trade. For all Ant's positives, Julius has seemingly brought out a greater work ethic in Ant.

MVP of our playoffs so far. His consistency and physicality has kept us in games.

I have been hard on Randle since the trade was originally made. His past post-season play made me skeptical, however, this year, I'm glad to be proven wrong.

So who is going to guard Julius in the wcf for both teams?

Denver normally likes to put Gordon on Ant but I don’t think they can do that all series.

Okc likes to put Dort on Ant but are you going to trust Chet?

The paint battle could be the deciding factor next round.

Yea i would of thought green would of shut down Randle at the start of the series. Didn't turn out to be the case

Denver mostly used KCP on ANT when they had him, and now Braun. Gordon would sometimes take ANT in the 4th clutch time

OKC would probably put IH on Randle and Chet on Rudy, try to bait the Wolves into force feeding Rudy touches. I don't think Wolves played OKC when both those guys were healthy

"I don't think he's looking to maximize finances. He certainly wants to get paid and deserves to be paid. Being with a coach in Finch who really believes in him....whether that means he just opts in or tries to negotiate a little more security but maybe a little less money, I think those options are on the table and will be explored." -Jon Krawczynski

I cannot wait to see next season with Randle. Kat and Gobert took a year to really mesh. But then it was amazing.

For those that don’t know it, Julius Randle made his second All NBA team in 2021-22, and was due a new contract. Anybody that makes All NBA is a top 15 player and has leverage, but Randle DIDN’T take the max, so that the Knicks could add talent.

This is not a guy who’s motivated by money. The fact that he loves Minnesota, the team, and Finch is a big deal.

I love to see KD here but if we sign Randle and Naz but loss NAW, I will be fine with having the same roster for one more year

A lot of other teams are significantly improving. The Spurs adding a top draft pick and getting Wemby back, the warriors actually using Kuminga, Dallas probably won’t be a factor but Portland could be. My point is doing nothing has risks too. Relying on the draft to fix the PG and C is a big risk. Jaden is untouchable, Ant is untouchable, but Rudy and Randle probably should move in the next year.
