Now he's got to drive an hour back home, too. Ouch.

yea that sucked, I just had a nasty feeling after the end of that game also. We found a lil irish bar that had the game. The waitress gave me a funny look when I asked what kind of beer they have, she said everything and I asked for Krieik Lambic ale (Belgian ale) and she brought me a Coors light.

What lost the game for us was when Al Jefferson rebounded the ball with 23 seconds left...he then called a time out. NO! You let them foul you and you go to the line and hit 2 freebies, make them call a time out, and then play the free throw game.

You must have missed the part where KG wanted to stay. That he was hurt when the Wolves told him they were going to trade him. The fact that he loved the franchise only made it worse.

I guess my judgement was clouded by the Press conference where he was all giddy about being in Celtic Green and what he did last night.

Like Horace said, not everyone is a fan of KG's cussing and big trash talking, I'm a fan of intensity, but trash talking just makes you not want to root for them.

I just hope when KG wins the championship, he doesn't start calling them MFers like he did to his old team last night.

Read KG's interview in Slam from this summer. He talks about being hurt by the Wolves trading him. KG was forced out, he has a right to be bitter towards the Wolves or at least it should be understandable.
KG was loyal and worked his butt off for 12 years for the Wolves. He should be given the benefit of the doubt by any Wolves fan.

You act like I don't like him. I watch every Celtics game because of KG, I'm just not a fan of his constant trash talking for players to get the message, but he is still my favorite player because he is a good player and made Minnesota games fun to watch.

It seems like you, and others, have a problem with him being happy.

Why do people keep saying this? He was yelling at the crowd.

No he wasn't. LOL @ you, go watch the damn game again, he was going toward the locker room and looked back the wolves way and started cussing, who cares though, I've watched every Celtic game this year, and i've always said I want KG to get his ring, I don't have a problem with him being happy.

PS ---we talked,

Edit - You know what, forget it, if you believe he wasn't talking crap then that's your opinion, and i'll have my opinion.

At least we can both agree that we both want KG to win his ring.

If that's true, does it make it any better that he was calling the crowd m-f'ers?

Think what you want, it looked to me like it was directed at the Minnesota bench. Given KG's history of verbally berating and seemingly making every little indvidual battle personal, even against scrubs like Jake Voskuhl, I don't think I misinterpreted it.

Again, I don't think it's a big deal and I think too much was made of it, but it seemed over the top to me. I understood it, because it obviously wasn't just another game to him, and it didn't surprise me or make me think any less of him. That's just always been how KG is, love it or leave it.

I think someone needs to send an email to the only person KG truly fears ... his mom.

Do you think he was insulting the crowd? Come on now. Just because he swore doesn't mean he was saying something negative.

What makes you so sure that he wasn't swearing at the bench, do you think he has some insane loyalty to some players just because they are wearing his old jersey?...He even said this is a whole different team. He has no reason to treat them any better than other teams, and he has been known to treat teams disrespectfully once in a while.

No, I don't think he was insulting the crowd. As I said in my previous post, I think it was directed at the Wolves.

Once again, I don't think it was a big deal, I didn't feel disrespected by it, or think that the Wolves should feel disrespected by it. It was just one of those things that I rolled my eyes at when I saw because it seemed a bit over the top to me. It didn't surprise me, it was just KG being KG.

Garnett has over 150 million reasons to treat the Timberwolves jersey with respect.

And as I've said when he was a player here, this profanity, disrespect, and lack of sportsmanship is too easily tolerated because of his talent, and because of the very low bar we set for professional athletes conduct.

Because I saw him yelling at the crowd (turning to yell at different parts) as Jefferson and Perkins were talking over by the Wolves bench.

You're being difficult bordering on stupid. IF it wasn't directed at the Wolves, was he instead trying to insult all the Celtics fans? Or was he yelling out of joy, and that yelling included some curse words?

You asked me if I thought he was insulting the crowd. I said I didn't think he was, and explained why. You never put the IF in there. I didn't realize that answering your question was considered being difficult.

You've got your opinion, that's all fine and dandy. I happen to disagree with you. I apologize if that's difficult for you.

I was responding to a quote of yours where u were asking if it was any better if he was directing it at the crowd, implying that it wasn't. So in that situation, if it wad directed at the crowd, was he trying to insult them? You were implying that if it was directed at the crowd its just as bad because he was insulting them.

I don't think it was any better if it was directed at the crowd, to be honest. It's different, it wouldn't have the insulting/disrespectful tinge to it that directing it at the Timberwolves had, but I really don't think it was any better. My problem (I use the term loosely, as I've said, it was more just something I rolled my eyes at, nothing I was actually upset at) wasn't with the disrespect aspect of it, it was the over the top feel it had. I realize that it can easily be labeled passion/intensity and all that, but the grandstanding and incessant cussing weren't what made me a fan of KG in the first place. A little bit of it's fine, and actually enjoyable to watch (it would be less enjoyable if they just performed like robots), but there comes a point when it gets to be a little much. I simply felt it reached that point and a little beyond last Friday, regardless of whom it was directed at.

So you had a problem (even if just a small one), because he was overly emotional. Let's look at all the factors. He's an emotional guy to begin with. He was playing his former team. Just avoided what would've been a huge upset. Sure it's not a big deal for the best team to beat the worst team, but imagine how embarrassing it would've been for the best team to lose to the worst team. There had been trash talking going both ways for most of the game. He only had like 5 or 6 shots the entire game. He got hurt and had to miss 4 minutes in the 4th quarter, and had to beg to get back into the game. And now almost a week later he hasn't played in another game, so he surely wasn't physically ok to be in the game, he was just playing on adrenaline. And he's in a situation where they haven't proven anything already. Sure they've got the best record, but it's not like they're the Spurs or Pistons where they have consistently been a top team. What happens in the regular season really doesn't matter for those teams, but it does for Boston. Factor all that in and I think it's pretty reasonable for him to be enthusiastic after getting a steal to seal the win.
