I still don’t know how paul has managed to stay healthy for so long… The rockets got screwed when he was with them.

Knicks got way too many games on national tv.

obviously worked for him

Awful night for the Wolves. Memphis might catch GSW at this point. We might actually want to be 7 if we can win the play in. Either way with Denver winning we might not get much choice. Also Lakers winning isn’t a huge deal, but I don’t want them getting momentum. Finally, Thibs cannot buy a win, and if things don’t turn around he won’t be buying much of anything (at least until he gets his next job.)

AD hurt his ankle and had to be carried off. Didn’t see the injury but what I read sounded nasty. Guessing he is going to miss some time after the ASB.

In addition, Phoenix has a record of reviving old players' career. They used to have an amazing medical and fitness team. Perhaps they are still around and have helped keep Chris Paul as healthy as he has ever been?

Have I ever mentioned how much I hate the 3 point shot? Curry getting 48 points on threes makes a mockery of the game.

I don’t know how anyone could watch the all star game and see someone hit that many unbelievable threes, and think that is what is wrong with the game… Meanwhile the first half is a lay up line, people give up on defense if anyone even gathers inside the three point line.

The all-star game has always had a YMCA open gym feel to it. Yes, even back in the 90s.

Curry "making a mockery of the game" is a joke. Honestly, most of his shots he would've put up in a regular game. Remember Shaq leading fast breaks and chucking3-pointers? That's more a mockery than what Curry did.

The number 1 rule is no one gets hurt. The number 2 rule is don’t play too much defense (partially because of rule 1, partially because it is more fun for the fans to see cool dunks and great shooting.) The ASG is barely even a game. I kinda wish they would move it to just before the NBA finals (kinda like the NFL and the Super Bowl,) and have players go all out for an actual cash prize. Would be very, very fun. Also, does anyone else think the NBA should have two rest weeks? One in December to go along with the one in February. Keep the players healthy and let teams have time to practice tweaks to their schemes. Two weeks off but add one week to the season makes sense in both the NBA and NFL.

It's boring as hell. Move the line back 10 feet and maybe it would be tolerable.

Curry isn't the joke. The 3 point shot is.16 threes. Basketball should be about more than just chucking 3s. Funny thing is he missed his last 6 shots.

It's impossible to deny that today's style of play in the NBA is far less entertaining than the style of play in the 80's and 90's.

Yeah, I loved those 81-80 scores with both teams shooting >40%.
