I really liked Oturu. I'm happy with our draft but I would have taken Oturu. I know he's mostly a 5 but I think he can play some 4.

Well that's debateable to be honest. Could go either way if we look at the numbers per36, and Culver was given significantly more chances and better positions to succeed. However Martin is clearly more experienced already even if not NBA experienced. Hard to compare where they both should be at exactly right now, yet the numbers actually being close. Maybe Amir Coffey would be a similar comparison per 36?

Sounds like competitiion for that role yet. Hope he makes the team and not just their G, if that. Hopefully his shots go in and he doesn't start beating himself up for misses. I expected a chair to go flying once in one of his first games. Then he leveled out, smart player.

Wasn't Oturu drafted in the Wolves second round slot 33 overall?

Off-topic but a youtuber just obliterated Nate Robinson in a boxing match. Nate was so unprepared it was criminal. Yikes.

If it's true NY was interested then I'm not concerned about Beasley's contract. Yes the legal issues are concerning from a number of angles but an essentially 3 year deal without any trade kickers or other weird crap another team would put in to screw with us is fine, especially given the money shooters were getting this offseason.

Seriously, did GMs forget about the pandemic?

Griz give Xavier Tillman Sr 4 year deal? I wanted this guy chosen at 33. Wonder what they saw to think 4 years already.
