Klomp wrote:Everyone nationally gushing about the Thunder offseason. It's coming out that "the plan" (via IH's skills coach) is to play Holmgren and Hartenstein together. While I understand it, I think that it takes away some of the advantage that the Thunder had last year with their small, switchable lineup. Same with Memphis adding Edey and possibly playing him and Jackson together.
Give me a Towns and Gobert frontcourt over both of those.
Well we won't have that now.

Re: Around the NBA (Part Two)
That's rough. Jalen has made 10.6M over his 5 year career and is getting dumped for "roster flexibility".
While his little brother is on a 131M contract.

Re: Around the NBA (Part Two)
Jalen McDaniels salary dumped to the Spurs and is going to be waived.
The move will get the Kings comfortably under the lux, they would have been just over it with him on the roster.
We don't really have a roster spot to offer him if we wanted to reunite him with his brother.
He was pretty terrible last year though.

That was my thought as well. He’s not a bad player, but he’s a very bad player on that contract, and with that injury history.
He could be helpful as a sixth man, but there’s no way management can justify trading for a max guy and not starting him, and Beal likely wouldn’t accept the role anyway.

It sounds like the Suns promised Tyus a starting role (which they really need). So you either bring Beal off the bench or start Booker at SF?

I think Booker goes to SF, and the starters score a lot, but can’t defend anyone.

The extensions yesterday are interesting.....I haven't decided yet where I feel it puts us in regards to a Randle extension or deadline trade. He might be looking at $40 million plus, honestly.

Re: Around the NBA (Part Two)
Leon Rose took a perfectly constructed Thibs team and turned it into maybe the most anti-Thibs team ever.
And yes, that includes KAT.
