I hope we take Achiuwa simply because of fit. Skilled all around forward .

Achiuwa is such a heat pick.

My next prediction. Nuggets will take Maxey.

Can you believe the WOlves drafted a #1 overall and the guy doesn't even have a thread yet. Nobody is excited. Maybe all the heart negatives on him were a conspiracy to get the Wolves to pass on him and Rosas was too smart for that.

Rubio is very good, but as some have pointed out he will cost us a lot of cap. I think he and Russell can work well together.

If we keep Beasley, no minutes for any more guards. Rubio, Russell, Beasley, and Edwards. Plus Culver is much more guard than forward.

As I look at who’s left, I like the pure guards more. Ugh. Hampton, Terry, Bolmaro, Maxey.

We could roll the dice on McDaniel I suppose.

Way too many good players left. Just cut evans spellman, trade okogie later:)

Ricky Rubio
D'Angelo Russell
Karl-Anthony Towns
Josh Okogie
Jarrett Culver
Anthony Edwards
Jake Layman
Juancho Hernangómez (RFA)
Jarred Vanderbilt
Naz Reid
Malik Beasley (Probably not coming back RFA)
#25
#28
#33
MLE
BAE
Jordan McLaughlin (RFA)
Kelon Martin (RFA)
Omari Spellman
Jacob Evans
Jaylen Nowell

That is the list. There are plenty of obvious cuts that can be made, but we can't accommodate for three to four rookies.

Looks like a championship roster

Far too many guards when the Wolves need SF and PF.

Russell worked well with Dinwiddie, who is a bit more dynamic.
Maybe that was their thought process.
How does that fit with Edwards though?

Best players left. Get forwards in free agency or thru trades.

Rubio adds to our winning basketball team first efforts to improve in overal. Also a good vet leader.

But he just costs too much...

Maybe we brought in Ricky because we needed someone to tell KAT to "change his face" and get back on D.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
