Likely available at 19 or 2nd round and the order I like them.

PGs -
1. Andrew Nembhard PG Gonzaga, 2nd rd
2. Jean Monterro PG GLeague 2nd rd
3. Tyty Washington PG Kentucky 1rst Rd
4. Jaden Hardy PG GLeague 1rst rd
SGs
1. Gabriel Procida SG Italy 2nd Rd
2. Marjon Beauchamp SG GLeague 2nd Rd
3. Bryce McGowens SG Nebraska 2nd Rd
SF
1. Ousmane Dieng SF France 1rst Rd
2. Caleb Houston SF Michigan 2nd Rd
3. Leonard Miller SF Canada 2nd Rd
PF
1. John Butler PF Florida State 1rst Rd
2. Nikola Jovic PF Serbia 1rst Rd
3. Karlo Matkovic PF Bosnia 2nd Rd
C
1. Zvonimir Ivisic C Croatia 2nd Rd
2. Ibou Badji C Senegal 2nd Rd
3. Kofi Cockburn C Illinois 2nd Rd

Again, this is my ranking for each position and the round I would take them in. Great example is Beauchamp, I wouldn't touch him til the 2nd round, but he will likely go in 1rst. I would gladly explain in more detail on any of the guys I listed. I would seriously recommend checking out the ones you may not have heard of. Until this spring I was unfamiliar with several of the foreign guys, like Matkovic...that dude could be a steal in the 2nd.

Don’t want…

1. Players who “need touches” … tells me they just aren’t that good and don’t offer other vendors to stay on the floor. (Ie. Beasley)

2. Poor rebounder… size matters but your engaged to rebound or your not.

3. Streaky shooter with potential … vast majority remain a streaky shooter. It’s basketball and you have to be able to shoot or at least know the shots you can make.

4. Strength… this is usually a way teams try to lower player value on a player they like. Strength - ya it’s important, but I take toughness and IQ any day. Can he play or not?… don’t fall for the lack of strength. A lack of will is the concern.

5. Speed… players that drop off speed of play with the ball. Some players sustain same playing speed without or without the ball. Some play much slower.

6. Learning the game… yikes! Once in a while they can pick it up, but typically raw players have low ceilings. Need guys that can anticipate due to IQ

My opinions.

Give me a look at Josh Minott in the second round, just so we can hear Marney yell "Why not, Minott?" after big plays.

There's looking for home run swings, but also looking for impact. Who impacts winning? One guy who could do that right away in the second round is Alondes Williams.

Are you thinking as a developmental PG? I can see that.

Matkovic could be a steal around 48 or 50.

Didn’t even realize Jalen Williams had a 7’ 2.25” wingspan. :o

You're not the only fan of Duren, I just expect him to be well out of reach of the Wolves going in the 9-11 range in the draft. I don't see any good ways for Connelly to move up that far.

I’m with both you guys on Duren. He’d be great next to KAT and his upside is immense. It would probably cost us #19, a young player and a Top 10 protected 2023 pick just to start a conversation, though.

He wasn't very good.

Look up any baby name sites online and he's the one credited for the name's beginnings.

The sudden usage of this name was influenced by University of Michigan basketball star Jalen Rose in the early 1990s when he was a part of the “Fab Five” college basketball elite, leading the Wolverines to the NCAA Championship games in 1992 and 1993. He was the team’s leader, point guard and highest scorer; Jalen would go on to play professionally from 1994 to 2007 (most notably for the Indiana Pacers). Apparently, Jalen Rose received his name through the combination of his father’s name (James) and his mother’s brother’s name (Leonard).

Thanks for the info. Funny how a not very good player like him could be so influential.

Sounds good. Put me down for him with our first pick in the 2nd round.

I really want Mathurin or Jalen Williams. Imagine Jalen next to Ant, yeah buddy! Going to need a pick in the 8-12 range. Hoping somehow Jalen slips & Connelly is able to pick him up.

primary target:
Jalen Williams

other options:
Eason
Mark Williams
Beauchamp
Moore

late 1st/early 2nd
Christie
Liddell

Yeah, I hope we want trade our 2nd round pick and use them for euro stash players. Matcovic and Roko Prkacin at 49 and 51 will be a good investment for me.

Bummer on Leonard Miller withdrawing. Loved him as a second round developmental guy

I actually have him as my number 1 power forward of ones likely to be available at our picks. He, Edwards and McDaniels on the wings would be deadly if they wish to keep Kat at 5

This kid is potentially intriguing. I know many are mocking him in the 2nd, but I wouldn't hate taking a chance on his upside...
