Al wanted to be here. He took less than his agent recommended to be here too. That means a lot to me.

Good bye Al Jefferson. I hope your new team values you more than our so called "General Manager" David Kahn did.

Yeah, this hurts. Al will always be one of my favorite players, he is a warrior. I wish him the absolute best and I'm happy for him that he is going to a perennial winner, he will show the league his worth. Keep your head up Al, go get 'em.

I think that pretty much sums this one up....

Good luck Al, although you don't really need it. Karl Malone 2.0......First traded for KG, and now basically traded for Carlos Boozer + picks....you sir are a monster. I might need to get a Utah jersey with your name on the back...and am also excited that I still get to see you play the Wolves 4 times a year...hopefully I can attend one of the wolves' home games.

Best of luck Big Al. Unfortunate that things ended up the way they did for you in Minnesota. It's just a matter of time before the league realizes your talent and you get voted to that first All-Star game. Do work big fella!!

Sad to see Al go. I loved watching him in the post and remember some monster games he put up. His defense might have been bad, but you can't tell me we couldn't have tried to surround him with players that would've made up for that.

Good luck Big Al! (but not too much... I'd also appreciate if you could get a DUI before each of the Wolves/Jazz games, kthnx)

Anyway, back to my self imposed RealGM vacation until all of the trolls die of starvation. See ya!

"I admire Al for his professionalism," Kahn said. "I told him we'd do what's best for him and what's best for us, as long as those two things met. He recognized this is something that might be in his best interest as well."

THANK YOU AL JEFFERSON!!!

You resigned here for less then your market value, you battled back from your knee injury and came back months earlier, and you played your heart out for the wolves just to have our GM kick you around sullying your reputation for months on end and finally ending the gong show that Kahn created and shipping you out to a contender. Now all that's left is for Jefferson to come back to Minnesota in a Utah uniform and kick our butts (he will and we deserve it for the way our management treated him)... not often does a GM put chips on the shoulders of possibly 2 of the more dominant big men in years to come in your own conference (Jefferson and Cousins) and by next year probably a 3rd when he decides to dump Love.

Anyway we knew it was going to happen, but trading Jefferson tops the mountain of questionable moves Khan has made recently.

I have a gut feeling that we'll regret moving him. Goodluck to you Al, prove all the haters wrong.
