Impossible. I don't even know who will be starting next year but he's already a better shooter then Rubio.

Rubio was never a good fit. With butler and kat who are ball dominant, Rubio makes zero sense what so ever. Thibs is angling for executive of the year. You guys will remember this summer forever

Yeah as the summer this dip **** ruined our team.

Really hope Hayward resigns with the Jazz. It would be fun to watch Rubio with Hood and Hayward on the wings.

Teague > Rubio.

Shoots much better.

A little bit better defender.

A little bit worse passer.

Well, Minnesota has a lot of cap sapce, probably can sign Rondo(who can give you what Rubio did for the short term) for cheap. I wonder what absorbing a huge contract and someone like Dieng or even Wiggins could net the Wolves. Build around KAT and Butler!

Lowry wont come to Min. If he does we will max him anyway so pretty dumb to dump Rubio contracts and pay extra 20mil for Lowry. No bench again.

We have no choice because were just fans. We just need to accept ever transaction the FO will do. And i dont think anyone will be freezing out both Wiggins and KAT imo.

This is truly the summer of change. Flip's plan was the foundation but Thibs has really made it his own now. Fitting we will get new jerseys cause an era is over for sure. Thiberwolves are truly here.

I'm glad we got a 1st rounder and capspace for him. I really hope it's for Lowry. If it's Teague then I'd be very disappointed, unless he signed for a bargain deal.

Read on Twitter

Don't panic. This could simply be Thibs getting assurances from Teague camp if he strikes out getting a better PG. fall back position.

Also, keep in mind, Teague's agent has every reason to leak this falsely, trying to drum up interest in Teague and drive his price up.

Personally, For the fit on the Wolves, I rank them:

Lowry
JRue
HIll/Rubio
Teague

Tough pill to swallow, but gotta wait and see how this goes. Love Rubio to death but ultimately I want to win and if we feel like Lowry....or Teague (I like Teague but like others dont feel like the fit is far off) fits this setup better than lets see what happens. We can grab the pitchforks if it doesnt work out.

Ultimately, we all know Taylor loves Rubio. He qouldnt trade him unless he was told something is definitely done and its big.

Teague is a much worse defender.

Normally I would agree with that, but Zach Lowe tweeted same thing and he is definitely not in the speculation/rumor game

Does not allow himself to used like that

This is why I can see Thibs doing this. We just have to wait and see how it plays out. If its Lowry, its an obvious upgrade. If its Teague, its more about fit.

I'll come around on this trade if the follow up transactions will bring in two quality pieces. If it's only Teague for anything over 20 million a year and no upgrade for the bench I'll be really pissed.

Would love Holiday. Sounds like Pels r re upping him though.

hopefully thibs can convince lowry to take less to give us flexibility to get another FA.
