I also understand fans watching more games at the start of seasons due to hype, new players, new uniforms, clean slate etcc as opposed to the end of the season. I watch the games and want to see them win. Plain and simple.

I moreso have an issue with "we need to lose to keep the pick" crowd. We have made the playoffs how many times over the past 15 years? All those first rounders.. how's that going for us??

Enough is enough. Change the culture. Start winning games and stop relying on the slim hope of drafting a superstar (who will inevitably ask out, because he wants LA or NYK).

Its simple ... most people dont watch any more. Theres a huge fan base from europe, and for us, the wolves games start at 3am. It has to be meaningful to conciously F**k up your work day to watch this game. Not worth it for me. Still glad they won.

I'm 100% with you there.Losing is a habit, and the culture of tanking has proven disastrous for the wolves time and again. Wiggins, Towns, Lavine, Love, the only one to keep a winner spirit was Ricky. All other guys developed into selfish, number chasing and empty stats generating guys who dont work on defense or for the team. Only now, that he got into a winning organization, do we see wha tWiggins can be.

The "we need to lose" nonsense is toxic.

Let’s be real ... the NBA gives you many reasons to go away and not watch.

1. Strictly about money now
2. Players control the league
3. League has fallen to politics

If you didn’t grow up during the Bird, Magic, Jordan, Dr.J years, you prolly don’t get #1.

Now days players can force their way out and buddy up, therefore, the NBA don’t build championship teams anymore - they buy them. There are many different facets of politics within the game ... it’s just a real turnoff ... the games culture has left the league and the remnants are drastically subpar (to put it nicely). Players think it’s about them - all about them - literally. Owners no longer have a sense for basketball - far from it. It’s just business and politics now.
