Yeah I don't get it. You can build around Ant and not have to trade KAT. D'Lo is more expendable IMO. Obvious knee-jerk from the playin game

Take what you can get for him in the off-season. This guy can't be relied upon in the playoffs. I want nothing to do with a supermax contract and KAT. I'd liken it to giving Wiggins a max contact and a promise to the team owner.

If Twolves front office doesn’t trade KAT they all should fired and franchise sent to Seattle.

Can’t go to war with KAT in a playoff setting.

This is obvious.

Want to be very conscious to not knee jerk, but that was embarrassing and it's very hard to defend him after that.

Knee jerk would be one game.
My KAT jersey is going to the op shop soon

I wanted to wait until entire post-season was over to judge KAT but atm he has been very disappointing. He isn't 22 anymore..he is 26 but still keeps repeating the same mistakes again and again and again.

This thread has become a lot more interesting in the last week.
There's a chance this turns into a Ben Simmons situation with the unparalleled choke job by KAT in this series.
I haven't seen choking this bad since Nick Anderson forgot how to shoot FTs.

More fouls than buckets made in play-in game and game 2 & 3 of playoffs by KAT.

Trade him.

The organization also has a big decision to make this off-season as KAT will be eligible for super max. With the way KAT has performed in playoffs (although limited sample) and him repeating same mistakes again and again, I am not sure he is worth super max.

Another thing though..casuals tends to say KAT is soft. I don't think that's the right word to describe KAT..I think the right word to describe KAT (on-court) is a talented but low bball iq player. I think there is a small chance that he can turn-around and stop making this dumb mistakes under right guidance but I am not sure it can happen here in MN.

No chance he gets a supermax
No chance DLO gets a max
I really hope the FO sees this and starts gearing towards building around AnT

Killing his legacy. He needs to pull his head out of his ass and play like an all star to fix it.

Exactly. The only way he can redeem himself is to put in massive performances for the rest of the series (though, given his track record and the blasé attitude, I can't see this happening)

I think the best time to trade him would have been back when he was asking for DLo. But since that ship has sailed, sooner is better than later. I don't know what teams are interested and what they would offer, but I like youth, picks, and vets who play D (I thought Beverley was a really good pickup). Keep surrounding Ant with the right culture.

I think Rosas wanted Russell as much as Towns. I think suggesting Towns forced their hand isn't really accurate.
