There were so many bad games over the years that they all blur together. However, this one totally stand on it's own. It's going to be like the Halloween Blizzard that just stick with you for years to come.
The only other horror show I could remember at this level was a KG era game against GSW, where Wolves up 20 but end up losing by 20.

Ant has to be better
Towns has to stop playing like a giant kid. He's about to turn 27 but still plays like he's 19.
DLo remains the best ever at getting his numbers in garbage time.

There are no moral victories. I think Finch will light up the boys after this one.

It looks like the old Wolves are back this year. Hopefully it's not permanent.

We shouldn't be this bad. This is gonna be a rough year.

I'd be sad. I'm still a big believer. Shots aren't falling now, but his shot-creation still looks pretty stout. I do think that having a scorer like him with no extension in place is risky though. The potential range of his next contract is astronomical. He's gonna want to make some big numbers, and that's not always what the situation calls for.

Don’t let Minnesota sports fool you from grasping defeat from the jaws of victory.

Losing to Utah after giving them our 5-8 best players along with draft capital is just another feather in the cap.

I wonder where all the OMG Gobert will change this franchise people are at. We traded most of our picks for a guy who can't even handle the ball.

Wolves gonna Wolves.

Still early in the season, the fit still looks awkward but we're literally 4 real NBA games in.

Two big things I noticed so far though;

There seems to be a lack of heart/energy from the team...almost like a "too cool" vibe, i've always hated that approach whether it be professional or even people playing pickup at the gym.

There's been too many wide open shots from the other team, not sure if it's because all 3 teams we've played have no real star to go through(besides Shai who dropped 30+ on us), so they move the ball REALLY well, or if there's big miscommunication on this weak ass zone they've been playing

My new plan: find more errands, to miss quarters 1-4.

Gobert will change this franchise, maybe just not what you expected. They should be more cohesive on one side of the court but last night was just bad all over. They look just as bad last year in the beginning of the season also with a new defense scheme. We will have the same conversation again in twenty games. By now Finch have lots of tape to work with. Although, he may prefer to burn them instead. Let's see how they beat SAS tomorrow and talk about the improvements (I hope).
