To play them even in the 2nd quarter with all that “Hot Mess Express” officiating is a testament to how solid we are as a team. Especially on the road against a top 3 team in the east.

I don't know what connections Embiid has but he is the only center in the modern era who gets reffed like an elite guard. It's crazy the calls they give him, they are fouls but no other center gets those calls. We need to play much cleaner, we can't be making a bunch of mistakes tonight, slop ball wont get us a win.

You are right, but… Embiid is getting away with bloody murder. It is the old story of not being allowed to guard with physicality while opponents are allowed to openly foul you.

What sucks is that, through the flopping, it makes it so defenders feel like they can't touch Joel Embiid at all. So many wide-open looks because he can't be touched. It just isn't fun basketball.

The worst part is they aren’t wrong. If you play any kind of physical defense you will get a foul called. You literally are not allowed to defend him, so he drops big numbers.
