Sometimes the eye test is just as important. His numbers so far have resulted in a 2-2 record. Of course there’s other reasons that have contributed to that other than just Ant. I just don’t think him shooting 15 threes a game is a winning formula.

He was well on his way to a 50+ game against Dallas but we saw how that ended.

I’m not saying he’s playing poorly by any means, just that I’d like him to not fall in love with the jumper. Takes away his strength of driving and putting pressure on the opponent.

If your shooting 41 percent on 15 3s a game that is also putting pressure on the defense

I might just be too old school then. One player shooting 15 3 per game just isn’t it for me. It bails the other team out. Get to the rim, get fouls and get in the bonus. This helps a team immensely in the long run. I just want to see him mix it up more is all.

Ant also doesn't get a good whistle and going into the paint and banging every night is going to wear you down over the course of a season

I think a big part of that was the surprise factor but also, we were just so good on defense, it was really fun to watch us flourish. This current iteration will likely get a lot better as they gel and the fun factor will also grow but as of right now, yea I don't feel that same joyful vibe we have last year. Kind of reminds of the year we got Butler and we were good but it didn't feel as fun as it seemed like it should have.

I don't think it will be this way for long but that's just my feeling in the first 5 games or so. I will feel better and enjoy the team more when we really start to find this teams particular grove.

We're 4 games into the season?

You had fun watching Shake Milton? We need to remember what the team was like last November 1st, not May 1st.

Aaron Gordon 6-8 on 3s thank goodness he isn't taking it to the hoop or else he'd really be killing the wolves

He's bailing the defense out!

I'll blame my adding him to my fantasy lineup, not that I'm complaining! (KG won't like reading this...)

The Wolves need to get some separation if Jokic sits for a few minutes.

Does Rudy go rogue or is someone encouraging him to try to expand his offensive game?? He should NEVER attempt to go one on one.

Idk why we still see some Gobert iso possessions on offense..they are such net negative plays. You have to stop it at some point knowing that they won't work

Do you think we could still get an expiring contract for Jaden McDaniels or would we have to attach some 1st round picks?

Rudy has a very specific set of circumstances where he should be given the ball below the free throw line. Almost all of them require he have a clear path to the basket.

This is where the younger players are different from older players. They just don’t understand situational basketball. Time, score, bonus, etc. they don’t value possessions and look for the home run shot more often than not.

What is Jaden doing?

This team is just so incredibly dumb on both ends of the floor.

We were up 12 like 5 minutes ago.

200 million dollar roster full of 70 BBIQ morons.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
