Indeed. Super high on this team after seeing a few games. The second unit just seems to fit together and compliment each other so well. Players seem like they have improved and Rush and Aldrich seem like awesome signings. My expectations right or wrong seem to be growing exponentially .

It sounds like you are developing a Thiboner. :P

Tough to know where we stand with these 2 blowout wins when the opposing teams rested most of their rotation guys.

However, dieng has been fabulous this preseason. Curious to see how thibs handles diengs contract situation.

Good game from both 1st and 2nd unit.
We are going with confidence for our 1st regular game. I hope not too much confidence.
Let the season begin. We are ready.

Been talking about the Bjelica inevitable explosion ever since I saw SMitch get fired. DO NOT think this is some internal change in Bjelica. This has almost everything to do with having a competent coach giving Bjelica the role he needs to have. Finally I will stop seeing the belittling of a baller he always has been.

Nice to see Dunn end the preseason on a good note. Rush and Aldrich look like great additions and Nemanja looks miles better. 2 blowouts in a row with Wiggins out. Hard to not be excited.

I'm wondering how much we will improve if we add another 3pt shooter.

Hot take: I kind of like this starting lineup with Rush instead of Wiggo. Spaces the floor, let's KAT and Lavine take more shots. Wiggo on the bench adding some scoring to that much needed unit would be great too...

Smitch did him no favors but Bjelica worked his ass off to get in NBA shape. Physically he wasn't ready to play 82 games last year

No need to tank his value.

If you want to regulate wiggins as a bench player , you trade him.

Agree.. Wiggins would demand a trade if he wasn't starting.. I don't understand Wiggins coming off the bench.. Makes no sense to me.

Projections of wins in the low to mid 30's? Would be a massive disappointment if the season turned out like that. I don't think those advanced metric projections can accurately capture or project such young players progression and the impact of Thibs.

I've been very pleased with Gorgui's defensive positioning in the preseason so far. It's a small sample size, but I hope he keeps it up. It's always been so strange for me watching him try to play defense in the NBA. He's been so bad at times that I thought it was because of lack of quickness, but then other times you see him on offense blowing by centers to the hoop so you know he has at least average agility.

Thibs might have a bigger impact on Gorgui than anyone else on the roster if he can teach him how to play D. His weight increase to 260 pounds will certainly help as well against Whiteside, Embiid, and Cousins, etc.

I've only seen the last two games but he seems much improved and a bit stronger. He still has the bad habit of not squaring his shoulders on help and pick and roll situations and giving the man a angle to the rim. Hopefully Thibs can keep working with him and break that habit.

Just me bless heaven for the importance of the sign of an excellent 3p shooter as Brandon Rush?
He will be an important factor for us during the season!

How about Cole preseason guys?
"...I want to compliment him, we all expected that he would take up the game, we have prepared the plan race on him, we have doubled. And, as usual, he did what he wanted..."
