Pistons entertaining offers for him.. He can't really shoot. He shot the 3s well past 2 seasons but hasn't shot it well this yr.

I'm well aware who Saddiq Bey is and that the Pistons are open to moving him for the right price. I've been closely following the NBA for over 15 years here...I'm not some newbie. I know that us offering Prince is a downright laughable offer.

This year Saddiq Bey is neither 3 nor D. I would not trade TP for him, because TP has more value for us.

Starting tomorrow teams can trade players who signed new contract in offseason. The question for MIN whether they are willing to use Reid and/or Nowell as assets in trade. Have we seen enough from both player to define their value? Two trades I want to see:

1) Knight, Forbes, SRP for Dennis Smith Jr.

https://youtu.be/dGShqGZEpUk
https://youtu.be/Q-Y4AY0VwXA

2) Nowell, Forbes for IQ

https://youtu.be/830kASy3Bok

In both cases we get above average perimeter defender

What do you guys think is more likely….

Minnesota trades D’Angelo Russell and whatever at the deadline
Minnesota trades a package of some combination of Nowell, Reid, Knight, Forbes, Rivers, Moore, and Minott (think a 3 for 1 type deal to get into the ~$8mil range)
Minnesota sits on their hands and makes their move in the buyout market (they still have the BAE)
Minnesota only uses the Vando TPE
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

I guess we should make another predictions thread

Here are my predictions:

1) one of Reid or Nowell wont be with team after trade deadline
2) Forbes will be waived or traded
3) PJ Dozier will make main roster
4) DLo wont be traded this season

We could've gotten Nerlens Noel for cheap. I think he and Towns would mess better cuz Noel is agile enough to guard 4s and the perimeter. I wouldnt mind if we added another shot blocker to come off the bench. Noel would be solid addition In case we trade Gobert by deadline lol.

“Should Beverley ultimately get moved to a rebuilding situation like the Pistons, the grizzled guard has a desire to return to Minnesota, sources said, should he reach free agency via buyout.”

Step 1: Cut Forbes
Step 2: Sign Bev
Step 3: Win

I hope Bev comes back, if nothing else than for his energy and ability to spark our team.

I've seen enough of Forbes, dude is so bad. Rivers is at least able to dribble, is quick with the ball, and can play solid defense. Forbes does nothing well at the moment.

:D :D :D

I know he's had a tough year for the Lakers, but I feel the Wolves were at their best when Bev was running the show last year.

I would love for PB to come back. I felt like when he and Vando were traded, we lost the heart of our team.

I'd be pretty damn hyped if he were brought back.

It was Bev more than Vando.

Every time he was out last season the entire team looked like they didn’t want to be there.

He was our heart and soul. Which says a lot given how many other guys were getting paid way more than him.

Murray should have been Wolves all-in move.

Russell + Bolmaro + 23/25/27 1sts (maybe Russell has more value than Gallinari and Wolves keep 27 with a added swap or two)

FOR

Murray + McDermott

Towns | Reid
JV | Prince or Anderson
McDaniels | McDermott
Edwards | Beasley
Murray | Beverley

I don't think Minnesota moves Dlo. Unfortunately his shooting and playmaking are too important and we can't get an upgrade without including major value.

A "consolidation" trade to add another ball-handler makes a lot of sense.

Utilizing the BAE and Vando TPE make sense but both are small.

My first guess/prediction is Beverley gets moved, bought out, and re-signs with us.

Otherwise the 76ers could swap House for Knight or Forbes to get out of the Tax while sending us a 2nd. House could find a spot in our rotation.

Of the three off-season available players, Mitchell, Gobert, & Murray, in what order of these three should’ve Connelly & Co thrown the kitchen sink of assets and mortgaged the future?
I guess let’s throw in Option 4: to have left well enough alone.
My vote:
1) Option 4 – just loved everything about last year. Everything. The opposite of what we’ve had to watch/endure this year
2) Mitchell – arguably a top ten talent and still only 26 years old
3) Murray – Ant & Murray could’ve been a potent offensive backcourt for possibly a decade
Distant 4) Gobert – His play says it all
