Will Buddy Hield be available for the Timberwolves to draft at number 5?

The Celtics cant just let a player slip by because the player doesnt fulfill there satisfaction immediately, or because the fans want some excitement. They will pick the best player whatever the circumstance. Therefore if the Celtics regard Bender the best player in there evaluation, they will make that pick.

If the Suns dont trade the fourth pick, Buddy Hield should be there at number 5 and be the choice. (Obviously the Suns are stacked at guard, and with Booker just dont need a shooting guard.)

Looks like a great chance Buddy Hield is available at number 5.

Burn that footage.
Rather keep Rubio

Praying for Jamal Murray to be there at 5!

Boston an/or Phoenix could trade their picks and this would mean nothing, but if everything stays as it is now, it'll all depend on the Celtics selection, IMO. If they feel Bender is the real deal or that they can wait for him, they'll get Dragan. Otherwise, the guy that seems more appropiate for them is Buddy Hield.

So to me right now it's either:

1) Ingram/Simmons
2) Simmons/Ingram
3) Bender
4) Dunn (they'd have to move BK, but I just don't see anyone taking Brown at no. 4 and with Booker on the team they don't really have the room for another SG that can't play PG nor SF like Hield and Murray).

Or:

1) Ingram/Simmons
2) Simmons/Ingram
3) Hield
4) Bender

However, a lot of things can change over the next 4 weeks. We'll have a clearer picture as we get closer to the draft.

I think Ainge is always looking for the next superstar. Bender is probably the guy with the highest upside or provides the most value to a team looking to flip its superstar and start rebuilding.

Supposedly Ainge doesn't like taking Euros, so not necessarily a lock he takes Bender. I think Hield and Murray are strong possibilities there.

That looks to be a game of 2 on 2.

That's my question. Too much dribbling for a game of 2-2? I would expect more dribbling to be required with less options for passing, but I don't know.

1. He takes about 3 unnecessary dribbles coming out of that reverse dribble.
2. It was mostly tongue in cheek. It's an 8 second video, and the season of overreacting to workouts.

This. I really like the idea of having Dunn or Murray come off the bench.

I think a lot on here underestimate Dunn's value around the league. Many expect him to be gone before 5, but if he's on the board, i'd bet a lot of teams will be calling.

I feel like Wolves covet him as well. I'm not sure what a team can offer to entice a trade out or a trade down.

That's great cause the phone will be ring. But is worth to remember Dunn was projected like a low lottery pick last year, and his stock improved only by being healthy and as result of a weaker class. Despite that I see him like a decent floor-high upside player. He could struggle and still being a rotation player. But if he pan out, he could be an allstar.

Outside of the top two, all these guys would be low lottery picks if stuck in last years draft. It's just a much weaker class. Doesn't mean these guys can't become good players though.

People say this "weaker" than previous years every draft, but it's almost never true. Every draft is roughly the same with there being a handful of players able to become special, every 8-10 drafts there's a lebron, every few drafts there's a player that develops into a great player even though they weren't the top ranked guy in their draft class.

Look at this draft simmons, ingram, hield, murray, dunn, bender at the top of draft all have a very good shot at being special players at the next level. Then there's a host of players coming out after having very good freshman season chriss, brown, davis, skal, elleson,

In a lot of ways there is similarity between the top of last years draft and this years. Granted I don't think there is a Towns level talent this year, but if you take him out of the mix the rest of the top 7 or so are not that different. Here's how I would compare:

Russel-Ingram: seem to be of a similar talent level
Okafor-Simmons: I'd probably prefer Simmons, but it's not that big a gap if you consider Okafor's value when he was drafted
Porzingis-Bender: At draft time Porzingis was every bit the mystery that Bender is
Hezonja-Murray: Both young guards with big upside
Cauley-Stein-Hield: Very different players, but each is older with an elite skill (Hield's shooting and Stein's defense)
Mudiay-Dunn: Mudiay is younger with big upside but I suspect Dunn will be the better player at least early in his career
Johnson-Brown: Similar players with very good athletic ability but questionable shooting

Towns will likely make last years draft class superior to this year, but I'm not completely sold that the rest of the early lottery is all that much better than this year's crop.

I'm sticking with the guy I said I wanted a few months ago, before the start of the Tourney but I still really like Buddy Hield for us. His shooting is much needed and would do wonders for our spacing. Other players that I like in the mid to later part of the draft are PF - Domantas Sabonis, PF - Brice Johnson, C - Diamond Stone & PG - Gary Payton II.
