Aldrich is dominating mizzou right now. Noticing he outlets the ball about as good as love..crazy if we had them both out there.

People can talk down Aldrich all they want, but he has the total defensive package for a center. And how come everybody's drooling about Love's outlet passing, but Aldrich's outlet gets never mentioned?

I just compared him to Prince because i see the long arms, handles, his rebounding. I see it. His scoring and other stuff im not comparing to Prince.

I've seen Johnson play quite a few times now and I think he's a solid #3 behind Wall and Turner right now for me. The problem is he's definitely not a star, he's a role player. He's a very good role player but a role player nonetheless. His ceiling is probably Gerald Wallace with a little better jump shot but not as good defense (unless he picks up that part of his game).

He's very long, strong, great athlete, seems to have a decent feel for the game and has a solid jumper, but he just can't create for himself because his handle is extremely shaky. And at the age of 23, I just don't see him developing enough ability to create his own shot to ever became a star, but that doesn't mean he won't be a very very good starter in this league for a long time.

I wouldn't get too excited about Aldrich vs. Mizzou. Mizzou is very undersized.

true, but I guess he's been bothered by some nagging injuries early on, and the death of his grandma. I think another reason why he isn't having the season he had hoped for. Then everyone is undersized and teams double, triple him. I think he would thrive here. He reminds me of a defensive minded Brad Miller. Great passer, good rebounder, around 6'11-7', both shoot fts well, and both have solid mid-range games(millers is a little more consistent( except Aldrich is longer, and more athletic.

The ESPN Lottery Machine is up.

http://espn.go.com/nba/lottery2010/mockdraft

Chad Ford has our board looking like:
1. John Wall
2. Evan Turner
3. Wes Johnson

I played it a bunch and I only got us not getting one of those 3 once, Ford had us taking Davis when all 3 were off the board.

Actually, I got it to have us taking Favors 3rd.

So Fords board for us is:

1.) Wall
2.) Turner
3.) Favors
4.) Johnson
5.) Davis

I think he has our board:
1. Wall
2. Turner
3. Favors
4. Johnson
5. Davis

At least that's what it looked like when I played it.

I'm currently getting Favors when Wall and Turner were off the board with Johnson being the 4th pick.

Not sure on the Brad Miller comp. Miller's a high post/perimeter guy on offense, a poor defender, and no great shakes as a rebounder. Aldrich can hit from mid-range, but he's best utilized on the low block and he'll probably make his biggest impact on the defensive end. If we're comparing him to a 7'0" white guy, I'd be more inclined to say Bogut, due to the way he uses his bulk and length on the defensive end, and how he passes out of double teams.

ESPN could just have a draft board for each team. Instead they make us suffer by making us press play lottery over and over.

What do we do if we get the 5th pick and Wall, Johnson, Turner, and Favors are off the board?

Aminu?

Aldrich?

Davis?

Warren?

Henry?

Trade?

This would be a tough spot.

Bad spot for us. If we stay status quo it has to be Aldrich, doesn't it? Unless we see Aminu as a SF I guess. Henry has really fallen off in my eyes over the past few weeks. Is his ceiling a lefty Dan Majerle (who was an all star I think) or does he have more upside than that?

First try we got the #1pick for me..

Edit:first 2 tries.., then 5th but it had us getting Wesley Johnson.
After 10 tries its been
1-1-5-5-2-2-5-2-1-3 and we've selected Turner,Wall, and Johnson.

Either Aldrich, or pick Davis and trade down for Henry I guess.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

JG updated his draft order for me -- he is the man.

On DX's draft board we have the 2nd, 13th, 19th, and 32nd picks.

At 2 -- Favors (Followed by Turner)

At 13 -- Robinson (Followed by Ebanks, Udoh, Harris, Alabi, Sanders all available)

At 19 -- Vesely (Preceded by Sanders, Followed by Pondexter, Pittman, Pittman, Hayward and Monroe)

At 32 -- Brackins (Preceded by Garcia, Followed by Jordan, Booker, James, Stephenson)

This is stacking up really nice for us.

My picks would be: Turner, Robinson, Sanders/Monroe, Brackins/James

I think Robinson is Marion 2.0.

I think #32 may be tradeable for a future first.

Davis and trade for prospect or player - doesn't have to include another 2010 pick. Hopefully Kahn would be on the phone asap once he saw Wall and Turner go.
