Jaden McDaniels set the Wolves franchise record for points in the paint in a playoff game with 24 in game 3 against the Lakers. Those 24 plus 3 made free throws and a made 3 got Jaden to 30 which ties his regular season career high, and set a new post season record for Jaden.

This was after the game 3 win. Remember that Ant got better than 25/5/5 in game 4 so he is now at 13. Time code 2:15. Long story short, Ant is one playoff 25/5/5 away from tying Kobe Bryant for 3rd most ever before age 24.

I've been thinking about this stat similarly, especially in how the team as a whole might compare to the rest of the West especially at the moment. Obviously stars are going to be much higher, but for example DiVincenzo coming off the bench for us has played 43 career playoff games. The cumulative total for the rotation seems like it might be up there pretty high. Randle has the least playoff experience in the rotation for us at 19 games.

I’d be curious which team has more playoff experience in their top 8 guys - MIN or OKC?

When Ant said that Donte is helping him with reading, recognizing defense I did not pay much attention, but thanks to your post I realized that Donte is the second most experienced guard in MIN after Conley. It makes me feel that TC actually did excellent job of replacing finding good, experienced player to help Ant: two seasons of Kyle Anderson and now DDV, both around their 30s when came here. Not to mention Conley and Gobert.

DiVincenzo has missed the playoffs just once in his seven seasons (the year he was traded to SAC midseason), and his teams have advanced out of the first round in every season he made the playoffs. And he won two national titles in college too.

No, I am not saying that he is the only reason for this statistic. But it is still an incredible number to me and really says something about the team's growth over the course of the season.

Minnesota dominated the fourth quarters, outscoring the Lakers by a combined score of 105-69 through four games.

I wonder how much Gobert/Randle physical presence in wear and tear tactic contributed to MIN success in 4qtr.

The entire team has been physical on defense. Even Conley. Over the course of 48 minutes a game, that matters.

Ant had 6 turnovers in the 5 game series.

He had 9 games with at least that many during the season.

“Luka defended 16 drives last night and was blown by 9 times. The most in a playoff game this season.”
