Earlier tonight there were some crazy Northern Lights outside. The sky was filled with them. While that happened before this time, however, the most intense one I've come across happened. It was moving really really fast and it changed to several colors. Once I saw one that changed colors, too but you could only see shades and it lasted for a few seconds max. This one today, though, lasted several minutes and it changed from white to intense green and purple. It was magical.

But, as always, I didn't have my camera handy. Damn it.

LOL, my first thought on reading this was "You guys get Northern Lights in Norway?"

Quite a lot of them, in fact. Feel free to browse the gallery of the local paper.

OK pretty sure my brother played some games in Harstad, I think that's as close as he ever got.

Yeah, that's not too far - about two hours by car. And Harstad is quite the basketball town (in Norwegian terms) with several league championships if I'm not mistaken. But I think they had to withdraw due to financial issues.

There goes my last chances to become a professional basketball player :P

I've noticed a lot of people on RealGM saying 'could care less' instead of 'couldn't care less'. I don't know whether it's an American thing, but it's **** stupid and defeats the whole purpose of the saying /rant.

A lot of people on RealGM just don't know basic grammar. I guess in a way it's becoming an American thing.

I think it's absolutely an American thing, because most Americans could care less.

On a similar note I used to get irritated a lot whenever I came across the word 'whilst' instead of 'while'. At first I thought of it as a horrible typo kind a thing. When I was at school I was taught the latter (and we were taught British English) and as I grew more and more used to American English it didn't change. Seems like an Australian thing. And/or New Zealand thing.

But then again, assuming it is an Australian thing, it shouldn't surprise me one bit. I wouldn't expect anything less from a bunch of criminal descents. Muahahahahaha.

In my online 2K sim league, I have my Wolves this is what my roster looks like to start season.

R.Rubio/M.Williams
K.Martin/Z.Lavine
A.Wiggins/C.Brewer/M.Beasley (Yeah I Know lol)
T.Young/J.Freeland/A.Bennett
N.Pekovic/G.Dieng/R.Turiaf

What moves should I make? How's the roster looking so far?

Was planning on going to the cabin today to shut off the water (meant to do it last weekend but we thought we would be going back this weekend). Roads are all completely covered in ice and I wasn't up for 9 hours of that so here I am. Hope my pipes don't freeze before I can get over there. :nonono:
