Uh oh. We need to trade Bennett for Young before he catches sight of those waffles and drumsticks.

After 800+ pages of Love trade speculation, countless trolls, and a mandatory 30 day wait, it all comes down to this weekend and I'm going to be out of town without internet. smh

They're currently running fiber optic lines to the area where our cabin is so this time next year I'll have internet and phone at the place and won't miss any big events. :D

Your cabin should remain the last sanctuary from the Wolves ;)

The end is near, finally. Anyone else find it odd the cav forum barely reached 45 pages on the LBJ thread yet the Love topic spurned almost 9 versions of 100 pages each.

Not really. We have more regular contributors here, and more people coming here to post their Love trade ideas

This may have something to do with it... 66% of Cleveland residents are functionally illiterate.
Some Cleveland neighborhoods have an illiteracy rate as high as 95%
Functional illiteracy is defined as reading on a 4th to 6th grade level

Just a few more days fellas and the start of a new era begins.

I'm sad Love is gone, from 2008 when we traded Mayo for him I was so pissed..but his hard work, dedication to work on his body and elevating his game year after year to reach a top 10 talent in the NBA was the most fun I'd ever had rooting for one single player. I'll miss him on our squad, but it will be fun seeing Rubio with Wiggins and Lavine + watching Love compete for a championship as long as he doesn't throw any low blows to the media about the Wolves.

Yeah, hopefully both Love and the Wolves FO (Taylor) can refrain from the trash talk this time. Kahn screwed Love. Kahn got fired. Flip, from all indications, had a strong relationship with Love. Hopefully everyone sees that this is a good thing for all parties.

I seem to recall that it was Taylor's decision not to offer Love the fifth year. Even if Kahn agreed with it or was the main proponent, I don't think he should take all the blame, or most of it. At the end of the day the team has an owner, and he can dictate whether he wants someone signed under certain conditions or not.

Can any stat specialists find me figures on how many points we scored and gave up with and without Love in the lineup last season, or something similar? I'm intrigued.

Kevin Love definitely sucks. The team gave up 0.1 PP/100 less with him off the court. I don't care if he was worth 11 extra points on offense, he's a scrub based on that fact alone.

So we were really bad on defense, with or without Love. Makes sense.

Actually I don't know, according to ESPN we gave up 104.1 points per 100 possessions as a team, putting us middle of the pack. Something doesn't seem to add up.
