Can Leonard do a sign and trade in 2019?

Butler, Leonard, Kat would be dynamite...

You inferred that KAT could play SF because Odom was able to play SF.

KAT has never played a minute at SF, and has only played 1% of his minutes in his career at PF according to basketball reference. He isn't ever going to be any quicker than he is now and he has yet to show the ability to play SF so why would it be in the best interest for the team to play him there after hypothetically getting a pick high enough to draft the likes of Bamba?

Don't bother. This guy used to put Love at SF frequently back in the day.

Better to just ignore.

He wouldn’t be a SF.

I never said he was. He would have to play the 3 in the lineup.

He’d be KAT in a 5 person starting lineup.

BUTLER & LEONARD are all the speed you need!

I find it fascinating as I remember Vince bailing on the Raptors many years ago. I think that when you look at how a player was in his 20s vs. later in his career how things can change as far as perception. It might not be the point you were making, but I think we look at athletes very differently at a young age when they have money and fame than we do at the rest of society at the same age.

Supposedly Vince has cleaned up his act since then, and I've been impressed with his humility when old Vince does an interview.

That said, I am just like you, that I will never forget how young Vince intentionally tanked on the court, to crush his trade value and force Toronto to trade him for peanuts (Antonio Daniels, and an aging Antonio Davis, if I recall). That was shameful.

Vince now wants Toronto to retire his jersey. i hope they don't give him that honor.

Free agent Troy Williams is signing a 10-day contract with the New York Knicks, league sources said. Williams decided among several interested teams since release from Houston last week.

I haven't heard anything negative since a few years after so I can chalk it up to youth, but it is interesting. Tough call for Raptors as he kinda put them on the map, but the subsequent drama was bad. Since then he has been good elder statesmen so it is tough to reconcile.

There is nobody worth signing this season.

Roll with what we have and hope it clicks during playoffs :)
