Spellman has been better this season than Reid or Juancho, not sure why he's odd man out

Juancho is head and shoulders better than those two.
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

As bad as the second half was those back-to-back-to-back calls were some of the worst I have ever seen. Especially the foul on Johnson.

I think Reid is better than Spellman as well.

This loss was really baffling.
I watched the 1st half and then changed the channel until 5 minutes left, so I don't know what happened.
If we can't preserve the momentum from the 1st half and coast to victory then I don't know what to say about this team.
Once we eliminate the likely causes, we must consider the unlikely cause that this team is cursed.

Really bad ending. I like Beasley and Russell a lot. They do settle for some tough shots though. I felt like the timeout when the lead was already lost to be too late. I think they'll be better after the ASB when everyone has more practices and KAT will be back.

26 and 28 from our two back court players and we lose? Kevin Love is rolling over in his retirement suit

JJ was leading the charge to steal this back and the refs stomped on it. Whether they are playing Toronto Champonauts or some team with the same record, Wolves pull the short straw with the refs.

Glass half full version: The refs are in on the tank and helping.

Yeah that was a really bad call. The game probably would have turned out different if they didn't call it.

Without Towns, you can see most of our current players are shooters/finishers, not creators. Russell had to create everyone’s offense otherwise it was a really tough shot. Either Culver needs to improve drastically or we need to add someone like Advija or Gordon (or both).

The cause: You jinxed them by turning the channel?

It's a bit concerning how how hard it is for Russell/Beasley/Juancho to get to the rim and make layups. Can't rely on tough jumpers forever.

Or Tre Jones. :D

The experience being force fed to Culver is nice though. Hopefully he has learned a bunch by the end of the season and comes into next year as an improved playmaker.

I saw Mclaughlin and Dlo on the court together. Dual PGs will never end here. Ever since Rubio and JJ Barea, or Jj and Shved, or Ridnour and ?

Poignant post game questions about backup rim protector all of a sudden. Great question but, where was that care about rim protection all these years?

I also like that we’re force feeding Reid minutes. He’s definitely an NBA player, but I don’t think he defends or rebounds well enough to get significant minutes as a five. At least not right now.

Beasley and Juancho are must signs though. Both are good enough to get rotation minutes on any team in the league.

It was better than we lost for the draft lottery; although, it's nice to see a few wins every now and then building onto next season. I was at work so I missed the game (will watch the replay of it now).

Reid would be a better 4 anyway.

Really bad lose again tonight. Its pretty clearly that Baby Flip is a bad coach and does a terrible job mixing line ups and roles with bad line up for way to long.Having Gomez & Reid together at any point is a terrible idea both guys are pretty bad defenders and are terrible on the glass.

The positives are that Russell/Beasley could grow into a really good back court, while Russell defense still isn't good he was make some effort which is something.Really feel going forward the Wolves need to look for defensive mind big instead of another guard or wing.Offense wise Towns/Russell/Beasley are all 20 plus scores on any given night.Need that big that can eat glass and run with the pack and get easy dunks.Adding Capela would have been ideally maybe they should look at getting Adams in the offseason from the Thunder.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
