Hasn't shot 3s as badly as he has this season since he was a rookie over 5 years back. From over 40 the past 4 seasons to .357 or worse right now this season.

And he's 8/31 (25.8%) since the all-star break.

eesh. trade this version of him

KAT needs to work on his passing, just doesn't hit guys so they can catch/shoot, they have to move or reach to catch his passes

Let's not forget his dislocated his wrist, got covid and missed a ton of time, and lost his mother. I mean, he has a lot of reasons to be off.

There are excuses and even explanations, but the bottom line is we are relying on KAT and he needs to be better.

Nobody has forgotten any of those things. It's interesting that the team is playing pretty well despite KAT playing pretty bad and DLo an Beasley not playing.

Lakers exploited a clear weak spot for the Wolves in that they leaked someone out on most Wolves 3 attempts and basically got a layup on a lot of the misses.

The bottom line, this Lakers team is really good. Going to be hard to beat in the playoffs if they are healthy.

Ant Over 50% shooting for the night. Keeps bringing that overall shooting % up. Haters are going to have to find something else to bitch about pretty soon.

He's playing better lately. He played dumb as bricks earlier. Now we're already at the fine tuning stage. But that is a concern for hte whole team. Like, one guy goes yolo dribbles the ball up and chucks up a 3pt while the rest of the team is running some sort of motion offense. Whats the result besides him clearly missing everything? Noone is prepared to rebound, and noone is set up as safety to stop the break. Everyone is caught by surprise but while the WOlves watch the ball and backpedal, the Lakers go all out sprinting. Of ourse they are faster.

Bottom line is we did everything wrong on defense and had a number of players no show on offense. JO, Vando, Layman, and Juancho all disappointed, but Reid and MCD straight up no showed. Of the remaining four Ricky played well, Ant had a good shooting game but hurt the offense quite a bit with a lot of dribbling before making a non consequential pass to a guarded player late in the clock. KAT was terrible from range and did not do enough to compensate. That leaves Nowell who didn’t shoot enough and wasn’t get any help from his teammates. No off ball or on ball screens. No set plays run for him. Nowell wasn’t a focus of the offense and as a result didn’t shoot enough or make enough shots.

He was damn good, his offense has gone up leaps and bounds the last several games. I really hope he can maintain and continue to build off of this, right now he's looking like a bonafide scorer.

Sure he chucked up a few garbage time makes after it became a blowout and finished the highest negative of the game -17. Same crap people ripped on Dlo for.

As far as I can tell I see no Finch ratio working here with Ant.

Highest minutes
Highest shot attempts
Most missed shots
Worst +/- of team

How many years of this do you guess? Until Cunningham, Kuminga, Suggs takes over next year?

Add to that “TOO MUCH DRIBBLING.” He holds the ball so long and does nothing with it. We need to help Ant help his teammates. Also, for those who are going to say I am nitpicking, I am not complaining to complain, I am saying this is the area to work on with him. Development is a process, I am not saying he cannot do it, I am saying he is not and needs to. This is a great stretch of games for teaching, hopefully Rubio, Finch, and Towns help him learn.

Itwas nice to see Ant play well and a little frustrating with Towns missing from 3 but I think he's not really in game shape 100% + covid recovery... Definitely looked like he was trying to catch his breath a few times. Big difference is LBJ / Trez pick and roll vs Towns, Reid and Hernangomez. James was really on target and Harrell too was able to really find space. this is a good learning experience.

Twolves looking better though in general, there were pretty good moments. This kid Nowell can shoot.

I was going to say that ship has sailed, but let’s be honest. At this point that ship sailed, hit an iceberg, sunk, and all the passengers are in the water clinging to hope of finding a life raft (AKA the trade deadline.) Also, the iceberg was injuries, small ball, and Ryan Saunders.
