They both have several soft home games coming up.

It’s going to be tight to the wire, I’m thinking.

We control our destiny. If both teams win out except we beat the nuggets then we have the tie breaker and we are at least the 6 seed. Will we win out, no, but all we need is one more win than Denver.

Denver lost today, which puts us at 1 W and 1 L back of 6th.

Nuggs play Brooklyn Sunday and we play Detroit..

Id rather play against the Jazz than the Grizzlies. Bane is a killer for us plus Dillon **** brooks. Need to get the 5th seed

Sadly 76ers blew an 18 point lead in the first half to lose by 7 in the second half. Dallas remains 2.5 ahead of us.

So the Clippers are doing a lot better than I thought, they are fairly close on our heels, they have been playing well, and they just made a nice trade. I could definitely see them being a problem. The Pelicans are also still playing much better than they were early in the season and they could make a run, especially if Zion comes back for 15 games or so.

Seems like spots 6-10 will be a big scramble. We are going to have to raise the bar a bit if we want to avoid the play in.

That game sucked. Things seem to really be falling apart for Thibs again. He doesn't have a great team for sure so its largely that but he is also just really damn stubborn. They have another bad season in 2022-2023, it's probably curtains for him.

As constructed I don't see us winning a series but we would have a chance.

Suns and Warriors would smash us. They are just too good all around to beat IMO.

I think we could make a series out of Grizzlies, Mavericks, and Nuggets. I would pick all of them over us but the Mavericks just seem really vulnerable. If their defense fell off or we could exploit it, we could win. Nugget at full strength smash us but I don't know how healthy Murray and other will be, they would still be favored though.

The Jazz would stomp if healthy, if not we got a chance. KAT would really have to get past their scheme though which has killed him.

Clippers would be a nightmare in the play in if they are healthy, they also scheme against KAT extremely well. Lakers, I think we could take if healthy but it would be tough, never count out superstar vets, even if they are aging.

There isn't a playoff team I think we could easily beat, they would all be some kind of battle.

I agree to all of this…especially the part about the Mavericks. They seem to me very vulnerable in 1st round.

We’ve played phoenix twice. Should’ve beat them the first time. The other time was back to back traveling from Golden state without DLo. Id rather face them than the warriors. Minnesota sports is the type of aura that has the splash brothers shooting 75% from 3 on ridiculous behind the back left handed hook shots.

Memphis would be a battle. Stick vando and mcdaniels on Ja?

Utah- they’re pesky. Never know if a bogan or DM45 to score 20+ per quarter. Plus dealing with gobert and white side would be annoying but maybe doable.

Give me Dallas, Denver, Memphis

Anybody but healthy golden state

Nets were missing both KD and Harden...I expected Nuggets to win...so not too surprised

I think we'll have a pretty good idea of just how good this team is in about 10 games.

We had a rough schedule for the first half of the season and had to contend with that plus COVID and some injuries to DLo and Pat Bev, still managed to get through it at .500.

We've now got a much easier run and (pending Prince and Reid updates) have a pretty healthy roster. I'm too scared to truly believe it, but I suspect that this team is actually pretty good and has the potential of winning a series against anyone outside of the top 2, and I believe we could give those two a scare even if we can't beat them.

All of this with one of our key guys being only 20 years old and the other two arguably just entering their peaks. Happy times.

If only the basketball gods were good to us and gifted us Mobley wolves would be contending for years and be handing the **** warriors a pick in the 20’s this year , **** still bitter.

Well we’d have Wiggins and no point guard

Yeah, be happy the pick didn't move up to 4th and gave them Barnes.

As others have stated, if we ended up with Mobley it probably comes at the expense of other additions/moves which have gotten us to where we are now.

Regardless, you can either torture yourself over those regrets or enjoy the team that we've got now. We haven't had many good teams over the journey so personally I'm going to enjoy this one as much as I can!
