Grizzlies will battle you to the wire of every game, we see that. The difference was, the Warriors have good composure. We fumbled and collapsed too much, the Warriros don't break as easily, they got a lot of experience. Grizzlies did way better than I thought for game 1 though. If Clarke and Bane get going in game two, it could be a win.

So dumb…but bane played a lot Vs Minnesota, 40+ minutes.

GS has nobody besides maybe Wiggins to contain Morant

They also rebounded better than Grizzlies...grabbed ton of 2nd chance opportunities, something which Wolves didn't do much

Good point, looks like they did a great job. Our lack of rebounding was a huge killer.

tbf Grizzlies were disadvantaged due to dumb scheduling. They played on Friday night in G6 and then asked to play again on Sunday afternoon whereas Warriors had much more rest. Why not give them additional day rest and let them play on Monday and schedule Suns-Mavs today? Stupid scheduling

and they did it with Wiggins, Porter and Payton Jr, Looney, Kuminga essentially being the "PF" or "C" the entire game

so much for size being needed

Idk what’s worse…losing the way we did, or Philly playing without embiid and probably going to get skunked in round 2 because he was in the game while they were up 30

Looks like the wolves did a great job on Morant and Jackson Jr. they look way better against GS. That said, us focusing on them came at a cost and Bane got a lot of great looks, he's not doing much against Golden State. Clarke also isn't feasting.

It’s definitely not a talent issue. Just fixable mistakes. I’m pretty convinced we’re closer to the 1-4 seeds than the play in teams

Huge problem we had in this series was not being able to get to the bucket. Golden State is a shooting team and they are bricking threes but they are still able to get to the paint tonight to make money. We couldn't do anything in the paint, especially down the stretch, it was a no-fly zone. Nee to change that next season.

Yea, I still think we need to rearrange some pieces but yes, we had talent for sure. Mental mistakes, style of play, and lack of composure were our poison.

Attacking the basket is a cheat code. I swear to God the Timberwolves have to brainwash Ant into doing that 70 percent of the time in the 4th quarter. We would feast off of him attacking and drawing fouls. That's the path to greatness, its way too powerful.

Need Ant to also stop showing the ball before contact is initiated.

I'd honestly put most of his training this summer on his handle and attacking. Taking contact, getting calls. That will really put him on the next level. KAT's summer training will be mostly mental work, eliminate the dumb stuff he does that creates fouls, way less talk back to the refs. Coaching staff needs to find ways to get KAT back in the post in deeper position and design plays to get him more involved. He should be getting way more quality looks.

The ability or will to attack the basket was a clear factor, but ultimately, if we had a frontcourt partner for Towns that was a reliable force on the glass we win that series 4-2 or 4-1

We all knew that, and Gupta sat on his hands at the trade deadline :nonono:
