It’s shaping up for the Lakers to play the wolves in the play in (9v10) and knock them out with a DLo game winning 3. Lakers and warriors get the last 2 spots as much as I hate to say it. Just be the wolves luck…

We cannot afford losing streaks.

This is going to be fantastic, we are going to lose the position against a Lakers teams without Bron thanks the players last year where with us and gave to make the team worst.

Yet people will still defend the Gobert trade. Absolutely ridiculously.

We would have like 20 wins if we didn't trade for Gobert with Towns being out all year.

Yeah, I don’t understand why people keep comparing today’s team, without Towns, with last year’s team, with Towns.

No chance. We would be at worst the 4th worst team, which is 12.5% odds. ANT would be struggling to develop on a non-competitive team while developing poor habits with piss-poor talent around him.

Since we already have six wins without Gobert this year (6-4), I doubt we’d only have 14 more wins in the other 56 games if Rudy didn’t play (26-30 with Rudy). Just saying.

And that’s without factoring in that we’d also have Vando, Beverly, Beasley, Kessler, etc. I’m confident we’d actually have a better record without the trade. Current Kessler isn’t quite current Rudy yet, but he’s already close. Factor in all those other pieces, I think we’d at least be 500.

Not to mention if we had an actual top 10 player like Giannis, Steph, Embiid we'd probably be way better off.

But no a 30 year old Gobert is def top 10 and was a worthy trade target to blow all of our picks on.

Are/were top 10 players available?

Durant and Irving were traded few weeks ago. But we didn't need a top 10 player, we only needed to not **** it off.

You just saw Durant and Irving successfully demand to be traded. They aren’t coming, or staying, in Minnesota.

Durant is too injury prone...and as well as Irving has played, Dal record not great since he joined.

If a top 10 to 20ish player isn’t available, you don’t push ALL your chips in like we did.

I get why people are mad how much we gave up. But being a MN sports fan for so long, I'm perfectly happy swinging for the fence for a chance to win a championship. I'm over settling for mediocrity.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Clippers won and the Warriors made a come back to beat the Bucks who didn't freaking Giannis. Bad luck, that Brooklyn loss is big.

Buddy, mediocrity is exactly the position the trades put us in.

Agree to disagree. We're mediocre without KAT.

Were we better with Kat and Gobert?

It's funny how people likes to obviate the truth or past situations.
