Dont you know that Gobert was a top 10 player in the league? Hes only top 20 now so that's why he scored half the points he normally does.

Wolves gonna be Wolves. Bet we trade KAT for garbage this offseason. Might as well trade Ant too at this point.

Makes sense. But even we the casuals know scoring isnt his thing, just check how much he has improved our defense and rebounding! Now these numbers fly right over my head ofc, because they are advanced, but here we go - WS 5,3 ; OBPM 0,1 ; DBPM 0,5 ; Value Over ReplacemenP 0,9. Gobert has played 48 games and as a result pushed us to 22-26. Im glad we are in the hands of proffesionals who saw that coming and were kind enough to get rid of our next decade of picks, because we clearly dont need them. How would picks in the 25-30 range even benefit us anyway, who needs young skillfull players on low contacts? The team is perfectly positioned for success for the next 10 years. Boston, Lakers, GSW dynasty you say? Add Minnesota to the list ! If you know, you know

Check the previous threads, I was against this and every other trade this idiot of a GM has made. He should have been at best an AGM. Scouting and free agency have been good for him, he should stick to that. Getting fleeced by Danny Ainge twice? Even Billy King wasn't that stupid.

How did we get fleeced in the Conley trade?

Can we all agree on a few things?
1) In the NBA, just like every other sport, your team's overall record is what matters most
2) KAT is good
3) Your team's overall record will suffer when good players are hurt
4) You cannot win playoff games without making the playoffs
5) We are in the playoff race

For those of you who are angry/frustrated with everything the FO does:
We are tied with GS and NO. We are within 2 games of passing DAL, Suns, and Clippers. Where would you like us to be in the standings?
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

Biggest concern is how poor Gobert's rim protection has been in last couple of games...it's the one area he is supposed to be freaking good at but he hasn't performed upto expectations even in that

i remember when the trade happened, Bill Simmons went through basically every "good" player that is Gobert's height and how quickly they fell off due to age/injury, other than Kareem

How did we get fleeced in the Conley trade?

No response? Typical.

How 'bout we offer them Gobert & all those legendary defensive metrics for him (Clarke)? I'd even throw in
some of those newly acquired second rounders.

Without KAT and given our schedule, We should be 34-25 (instead of 30-29). Most concerning is we still don't have good chemistry and playing dumb. On the brighter side, we are 14-8 (.636) since Jan 1st.
