KAT isn't 100%, Ant isn't 100%, now Gobert is a little beat up, and Reid is out for the year now. Is this just what happens to balance out how little health problems the team had last year.

This team has to get mature enough to understand that every game is a big deal. Every quarter, every possession. Poise and IQ are our biggest weaknesses. You can't be sloppy when big boy stakes are at hand.
It’s a coaching issue. But again some here blame the players when they lose and give praise to the coach when they win.

Re: Lakers at Wolves
One of the biggest downsides to Finch's free-flowing playless offense is that it has no ability to exploit mismatches or adapt to zones or box and ones. D-Lo had to guard someone tonight and we didn't make them pay at all.
I would rather we had traded everyone but Ant/Jaden/Kessler last summer for draft picks and cap space than have made the Gobert trade and be stuck with this for the next 5 years.

This is only the 3rd decisive loss in the Conley era and everyone was out cold - either sick or can't shoot. We are still OK. Just need to run the table to get 7th seed.

This is where I’m at. This team, even healthy, doesn’t have a lot of playoff upside.

Hardly. We played like trash, our backup PG went 0-5. Our star player shot 4-14. We had no answer for Davis. We had no personnel to guard him cause Gobert got injured.

It never has, we would have been better off selling DLo for space and Towns for picks last summer, you're right. But then we'd still be **** and we'd all still complain. Being a Wolves fan fricking sucks.

I wanted to say I've skimmed over this for some time and I love this.
This year has been so effed! I really thought we had a small chance of going all the way. I thought 2nd round for sure if we play up to our capabilities.

Re: Lakers at Wolves
This fandom is the most bipolar group of people I've ever seen.
Every good game it's all "we comin'!" and "I love this team!" Every loss it's "This team is trash" and "see, I told you we should have done X instead".
It's exhausting watching it, can't imagine what it's like for you lunatics actually doing it.

You think we win a chip next year?

Also, while not the reason for this loss, I still consistently struggle to fathom how Ant can take 16 shots and only go to the line twice.
Especially with Reaves getting there 6 times on only 9 shots.

I can't wait for the day he starts getting respect. He should be feasting at the line with his skills.

I said it before, this team is bipolar. We take two steps forward then, for whatever reason, two steps back. We never got 2 games over .500. At the same time, the standings are crazy. One game drops you two spots. Let's hope we get on a hot streak to finish. Still need 3 wins to ensure we get to the small dance.

I agree. We are immature and very inconsistent. We are essentially a .500 team. Probably a little better at full strength but we are very up and down. It seems imp[possible that we could ever win 8 games in a row. We can win 2-3 but they we will immediately drop 2-3. We are flaming hot one night then ice cold the next.
Another key indicator that we are just a solid team, we never ever put people away. They always come back, we always have a really close game for most of the end. We can never just blow a teams doors of and keep the pressure one. We always let up and have to battle.
We just aren't there. We have a lot of upside but we still aren't able to get to where we need to be. We aren't a truly good team that can be relied on.

We desperately need to get healthy. String together a nice few games to end the year and hopefully get some help if needed.

Even though some calls are missed, honestly, Anything Edwards isn’t particularly good at initiating contact on drives. Defenders are generally just about to wall-up, which isn’t a foul.
