Re: 2023 summer league
I just watched Brandon Miller for the first time. He is still my bet for bust of the year. 2-4, 4R, 7A. Not exactly setting the world on fire. He looks like a cross between Kwame Brown and Ben Simmons. I am glad we didn't trade Towns for him.

If we had traded KAT for that pick I'm almost certain Scoot would have been the target.

7 assists sounds nice but yeah Wolves got the better Miller in this draft in 4 years, just watch.

My best guess is Brandon turns out real good and will be better than Leonard, but I hope you're right.

Re: 2023 summer league
Even though he had some turnovers I thought Tre Mann looked great in this game and much better than his competition.
Also, Chet looked like dog water. If he doesn't add like 30lbs I think he has a high risk of being a bust.

Re: 2023 summer league
Also, I just got a ton of work put on me today (which I am thankful for), but it means I won't be at Summer League tomorrow.
I will check out streams as I can, but I won't be there in person (sorry to disappoint KGdaBom).

This will be Tre's third year in the league, I'd hope he looks good in that environment.

Fair enough, but he looks like he could be a solid backup PG in the near future.

I watched that and Holmgren was alarmingly bad. Lazy, loose handle, low IQ.

He seemed very slow and plodding. I know there are reports that he put on 13lbs since last season, but that just gets him up to Wemby weight. I just don't think physically that his body type will hold up to an 82 game season (and so many bigs are going to be physical as hell with him).

That’s true. The alarming thing to me was he was bad on offense, and that’s where he’s supposed to be good.

I won't be there tomorrow either. I'm going Monday and staying until the Wolves are eliminated.

So if they win it all, you're staying until at least next summmer?

To be fair, he would then get to experience the 8-9 months of amazing weather that isn't summer here.

Good point, but if they win it all they are eliminated from playing any more games.

Are you that big of a die hart Wolves fan or just a die hart gambler (summer in Vegas) - Just kidding, don't answer this one.
I live just under a 4 hour drive from Vegas and hotel rooms and AirBnB is cheap this time of year. It's really fun to not only check out the Wolves players, but your daily ticket covers all the games. It's an event. Celebrities are everywhere. I really recommend you check it out sometime.

Was planning on it this year but got a deal on a place in San Diego Friday to Thursday and with school starting for the boys soon did the family thing,
I’ll hit you up when I do go.
Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
