Coaching loss. Played like garbage, but was still there for the taking. Absolutely no structure or plan. Finch needs to learn from it.

When i heard rudy was taken out, I was dumbfounded.. why?? Can't put it all on Finch.. doesn’t he have assistants smart enough to know the situation?
If he doesn't, he needs to fire and hire better.. ridiculous that common fans wouldn't have played it as the coaches did..

I wonder what Connelly is feeling about the tight 8 man rotation so far

Finch is stubborn as usual, I am fed up with it. he will keep forcing Conley to play with the game on the line even when old man is terrible for the entire game. I don’t even blame Conley at this point it’s obvious he doesn’t have it anymore, he just looks old. A good coach would see this and only play Conley when he has it, especially when we have ddv available.

Nah he shouldn’t have been out there after looking like ass all game, and then he takes 4 shots and misses them all and has a turnover in the last minute too smh. Conley’s play has cost the team two wins already. I put the blame entirely on Finch for not realizing when Conley doesn’t have it, he’s old and not hitting any shots, if he’s bad all game ,sit him down, finch puts too much trust in him like he did last season with Slowmo

Too early in the season to care.

Re: Game 10: MIA @ MIN
I just love how the other team has the ball down two points with 9 seconds left, Julius Randle and Mike Conley are in the game, and DPOY Rudy Gobert and Dante Divencenzo, who had been all up in Miami's business all game defensively with 4 steals, were sitting on the bench. Not bringing Dante back in cost us this game. He was a huge part of the reason we made a comeback.
Dante and Naz play the last 4 minutes over Mike and Julius, and we win by 10 points.
I've seen enough from Julius Randle to know I don't want the team to extend his contract.
He's a disaster offensively when the other team ratchets the pressure up and a big negative defensively.
Naz has more defensive rebounds per game than him in 10 fewer minutes.
Ant, Mike, and Julius were horrendously careless with the basketball all game long.
Just disgusting.
We deserved this loss even if Miami is a pretty damn mediocre team, especially without Jimmy Butler.
You can't be that horrifically sloppy with the basketball all game long and foul in crunch time and expect to win.
Oh, and so so glad TC drafted Wendell Moore Jr, who never played a meaningful NBA minute for us and cost us a high 2nd round pick just to dump his contract, over Nikola Jovic who's at minimum a rotational stretch 4.

This game makes me vomit. Also I dont know if I have heard so many late referee whistles. Although MIN players did commit some stupidest fouls ever, I felt like zebras were pretty happy to blow whistle from very first minute of the game.

Sometimes I don’t understand Finch. The last 2 or 3 games he end the game with DDV and tonight he put Mike when he was totally having a bad game. Does not make sense for me.

Re: Game 10: MIA @ MIN
Just finish to watch the replay. Ant was terrible Im second half look like no energy. He messes up 2 possessions at the end of the game including one after a steal where he to the ball on a 3 against 2. Overall shooting was terrible from all starters except Rudy who did not see much the ball tonight… bad night happen. Move to next game.

This was not a good night. Thankfully it was only 1 of 82.

Finch effed up this game. Period. Seems weird to say but Finch looked like he was out of control. The teams’s olay absolutely reflected that.

Props to the Heat though. Played really physical and ruined all the momentum the Wolves couldve had.

Can't believe everyone is turning against Mike Conely so fast. He hasn't been good but I still believe he will turn it around.

Rosas>Connelly when it comes to drafting talent. Rosas is our drafting GOAT.

It's ironic that after the Culver draft, Rosa is still the Minnesota gold standard. Flip was one draft pick aways from GOAT (just needed to take CJM, Giannis, or Gobert in the 2013 draft).

Re: Game 10: MIA @ MIN
Sometimes you can overthink a situation. That's exactly what happened. They were so afraid of a 3, that gave up a 3 anyway. If they hit a contested 3, you shake their hands and say you got us. But you don't give up an uncontested layup on a switch that you KNOW you should've executed. I was watching it and called it before the ball was even inbounded, smh.
Finch is a good coach but a lot of times I feel like he's not too good in the moment with critical details. Same goes for Ant...dynamic player but will shoot you out of game when he's either missed a few and trying to make up for it or he hasn't scored in awhile and is trying to join the party.
Still has a tendency to think he can only affect the game by scoring. He had Randle for a clear dump off in transition for the layup. He also had NAW in the corner I think on that same play but turned it over.
