I think after tonight there is a good chance we get the 5 seed...possibly even the 4 seed. Lillard is probably going to be out...and i think we handle Memphis next time we play them. If we win out we even have a chance at the 4 seed. We would have been the 2 seed this year if we hadn't lost all those awful game against crappy and undermanned teams this year.

4 is highly unlikely...2.5 back.

Outstanding performance from the team specially after such a poor start. We are ready for the PO battle!

I understand how unlikely it is...and I said if we win out. Denver could easily lose three more games. I said if we win out we have a chance. We would have the tie-breaker over them. Personally I would love the 6th seed playing either the Lakers or Rockets. Let Denver play either the Warriors or Clippers, and then have the winner go play OKC. Denver has proven they can win a championship. The Lakers and Rockets haven't proven that to me yet. Luka is a shot maker...but LBJ is old.

I dont currently have TNT but following the play by play this looks like it was an incredible game to watch.

Jokic is just so good, best player of his generation.
No one like him.
SGA will probably win MVP this year, because of OKC's record, but Jokic really deserves to have won 5 straight.

No Murray or Porter really helped us but Gordon and Jokic hit a ton of huge shots in the OTs.
Westbrook cost them at the end as did their missed FTs.

NAW has really grown this year.
Ballhandling is a little bit tighter and has not had the shooting slumps he did last year.
I get queasy thinking about paying him the full MLE as a FA this summer, but its probably gonna happen, he's earned it.

A healthy Denver is by far the 2nd most dangerous team to come out of the West this year, with Memphis's implosion.
It's looking increasingly likely if we finish 5 or 6 we get Denver or the Lakers, 7 we get Houston, 8 we get OKC.
Although Houston could still slip down out of the 2 spot.

Things said by fans of the opposing team:

bro I want to break something I have never been this mad after a basketball game

“This has developed into one of the better rivalries in the NBA” Lol it’s not really a rivalry tbh until the Nugs start putting up more of a fight

Wolves owns us more than we owned Lakers. We won’t win a game against them in next 4 years

I want it on record, I hate ANT more than any other NBA player with the exception of Embiid

Reaves has really leveled up too. But their supporting cast outside of those 3 is questionable.

But it would silly to discount any team that has Luka Doncic and plays in the NBA's favored market.

The Rockets have grit, coaching, and great defense, but I have a hard time seeing them be able to grind out a full series at playoff intensity with their lack of offensive firepower.

Tbh wolves are outmatched in any match up (except the grizzlies?) coaching wise. Finch is a complete choke artist in the clutch and always looks like a deer in headlight it’s **** disturbing.

I disagree. Overall it was a terrible performance against a badly banged up Denver. We let them start 21-5 and start the 4th 16-2. We blew a 6 point lead with 1:48 in the first OT. We gave them 44 free throw attempts and let them score 139 points. I am very glad we won, but let’s not pretend the Wolves played well. Sometimes we gotta win ugly, and tonight that was UGLY!

He played Joker 53 minutes including 34 straight in the 2nd half and OT, they wanted this one pretty badly. Especially as this was the front end of a back to back.

Yeah, if they were going to invest that many Jokic minutes, they really needed to win the game. It turns out it would have been better to rest all four starters last night, and have them win the one today.

How frustrated does Jokic, maybe the smartest player in the NBA, have to be with Westbrook right now?!?

That was one of the greatest games I have ever seen...of any sport. To give either team any criticism after that game is bananas.

We were so shorthanded that we had to play Josh Minott and Rob Dillingham. Neither of those guys will play in the playoffs in meaningful minutes. Those two actually played well last night.

Yes, we had bad starts in the 1st and 4th quarter, but we also didn't have our lineup to start the 4th (Gobert, Conley, DDV, Naz and Naw) that we usually play and that lineup has been killing it every game. I don't want to play the Nuggets in the playoffs. We don't have an answer Jokic...we have a guys to put on Luka, LBJ and SGA....I'm not saying we shut them down, but we have different guys we can throw at them. I'm not confident we have answers for Jokic. I'm not saying we can't win that series, but I don't want to have to play against him 7 straight games.

Calling it a terrible performance when the Wolves beat a team with a better record, on the road, and with the best player in the league seems a little over the top.

Westbrook was our clear MVP last night.

He was fantastic for us down the stretch.

It's a little unfair. Sure he fouled NAW and probably shouldn't have gone in for the layup. But Conley made a great play that no one has talked about. Westbrook was 12/6/7 and plays pretty good defense.

Not having the Conley, Naw, NAZ, Rudy and DDV lineup at the beginning of the 4th quarter was huge for the Nuggets. We might have won that game comfortably if they didn't get suspended.i understand that Denver was shorthanded too, but we build the lead usually with those guys on the floor to start the 4th.

12 / 6 /7 in 38 minutes isn’t remarkable.

I didn't think he was great either...i just don't think he was awful. Also, one guy had almost half their points.
