They're not even pretending to care about (transition) defense. 5-6 times tonight after made baskets Lakers are getting to the rim with one pass

In the last minute alone he could've had 3 dunks if they just passed it high to him.

Hope Finch benches Julius until the half for this last play. Ignores Rudy under the rim, takes a dumbass fadeaway that hits the side of the backboard and then gambles and gives up an open 3...

Something that we been working on for over a year now and we still suck at it

Players just don't trust him. His misses and drops are loud and they don't pass to him unless they have no other option.

By that logic if Rudy started punishing them with how many defensive assignments they miss and he has to clean up they owe him a 1000 dunks every year.

First lesson I ever learned about PG play from Rondo was "have to reward your big". He's hustling, calling out defensive plays, doing the dirty work and you want to act high and mighty because you can dance with the ball more. **** hell

Yes, just simply basic, like the Lakers are getting Ayton more involved in the second half

we did, we traded him away (KAT)

I forgot that KAT was the guy to get Rudy looks. Pathetic.

I wore that same LeBron outfit to the grocery store today.

Was I trying too hard?

Gobert is horrible this season. Can't rebound, can't defend and can't score. What is he even doing?

We look like an absolute mess but we can easily get back in this and win with a good run. Need to play some inspired defense.

Naz Reid needs a massive minutes reduction.

Tonight is looking like Mike and Rudy are aged out.

I stopped watching. The NBA is simply becoming guys jumping into others to get calls.

Luka, MVP Shai, Embiid - they reward them all. Ugly.

I'll be honest, I still disagree with letting Nickeil Alexander-Walker move on in favour of Naz Reid. The dude is a bottom five defensive player in the NBA, he is (and has been) completely unplayable when he isn't scoring.

36-32-40 for the Lakers. Our defense sucks.

Lakers are getting a lot of touch foul calls. If the refs call them in the last game, the entire Portland team may had all foul out.

Sounds like Ant needs to catch up…for the record, I hate the nonsense calls as well. Thought that was supposed to be cleaned up with a rule change a few years back??

Welp. Congrats to the Lakers, they absolutely handed us our ass. Can't blame this on the refs, they have clowned us.

Luka gets away with an astonishing amount of push-offs.
