Penalty. Too much wordplay on the field.

Does anyone here take Turner over Wall/Favors with the 1st or 2nd pick?

Turner possibly over Favors, not over wall, for me.

It's been mentioned elsewhere, but Xavier Henry starred in his debut with Kansas vs. Hofstra.

27 pts
8-12 FG
5-8 3pt

Wall hit the game winner tonight against Miami(OH) and had a strong outing:

I saw the game, he played pretty well late. Overall it wasn't his finest work, I expect him to do much better.

Kentucky needs to play as a team, and stop the 1 on 1 crap. Not really referring to Wall, but a lot of their guys just like to shoot, or force things way too much.

Wall showed flashes this game, even if he was a bit off, he's gonna be something.

I think if we land the first pick we have to take Wall, unless someone offers us a monster deal for him and we can get Turner. Wall and Rubio in the backcourt would be awesome, then if we could sign Rudy Gay we could actually have some athletes to make the fastbreak work, except still not many shooters.

If we did get the 1st pick (little chance, I know), I'd love to see Wall drafted, and some combination of assets traded to get another lottery pick to use on Turner. I think Tekkenlaw has suggested Rubio for Turner, which I'd do, although who knows if a team who needs a PG will have a high lottery pick? Hopefully we have SOME luck this year and get the Charlotte and/or Utah picks, because there look to be some damn nice prospects all the way to the early 20s.

Personally, I'd rather go with MnWi's idea of trading Rubio's rights and Ellington for Eric Gordon.

Aldrich does look good. I like Turner and him and Henson the most.

Would the Clippers go for that? I thought they were building around Gordon and Griffin. Unless they found some sucker to take Baron Davis maybe...

Aldrich I like, just wouldn't draft him nearly as high as he's being projected right now; if we got the Charlotte pick and he was available I'd grab him. Henson I haven't gotten to see yet, but what I've read about his ball skills intrigues me.

Who knows? As long as Mike Dunleavy is in charge, though, I wouldn't put anything past them.

This is exactly my thought, too. 10 to 15 pick, yes. Top 5 pick, no.

From what little I've seen of Henson, he reminds me a lot of Anthony Randolph. I think he'd be an excellent fit on this team, but I'm having a really hard time seeing him come out this year. He's just not getting enough minutes to guarantee good draft position, and he's ridiculously skinny. Even skinnier than Randolph was at LSU.

Cole Aldrich is pretty darn good, he's a top 4-10 player in this draft. He's more athletic than given credit for. Great size.

As far as henson, he might be good down the line, but he's 2-3 years away. I hope he stays till his junior year in college. He makes corey brewer look fat. If he's smart, he'll stay 2 years minimum and hopefully 3.

Henson is a prospect. I do not deny that. I just think he could be really special.

possibly.....but he's not even physically ready for college ball yet. he looks scary frail, like he's gonna break. I don't see him contributing much this year.

I could see it happening legitimately, but it would be summer 2011 and Ellington would have to prove that he can play well at an NBA level and Rubio will have to show how special he is at that point and be willing to come to the NBA that summer. In that case, I could see a Rubio/Ellington for Gordon deal, but not before.
Thriving on mediocrity since '89.
