The Wolves have now won 10 playoff road games in 2 years, the best road record of any team in that stretch. For context, we were 6-27 on the road before last year. This is according to the post game on ESPN.

The Wolves had 20 assists on 25 made field goals in the first half of game 5 against the Warriors. Those 20 assists set a new franchise record for most assists in a half in the playoffs.

Ant reached 1000 career playoff points before the age of 24. The only other wolf to score 1000 career playoff points with the Wolves is KG. Also Ant doing it before age 24 puts him in elite company. That list includes Kobe Bryant, Tony Parker, Jayson Tatum, Lebron James, and Kevin Durant. Ant managed to score over 1000 in exactly 37 games. No one under 23 has ever done it faster. Lebron and KD managed to get to 1000 points in 37 games and we now have a 3 way tie for all time fastest under 24.

Right now Jaden has the best net rating (+12.7) of any western conference player playing over 30 minutes per game.

I was just thinking as a Minnesota sports fan I had never seen one of my teams make it to the conference finals in back to back years. Apparently the last time it happened was the 80-81 North Stars. I guess I was technically alive at that time, but barely.

I was thinking about that too. I looked it up.

Timberwolves 2024-25
North Stars 80-81
Vikings 73-74, 76-77
Twins 69-70
Lakers 48-55, 58-59

Just read the fun fact that this is the first Western conference finals not involving a Texas or California team since 1996. Seems amazing but considering there is 7 out of 15 teams from those two states. The likely hood of one out of two teams in conference finals is actually very high, especially you got LAL, GSW, and SAS.

I have not followed this stat in a while, but Ant has better than 25/5/5. This means he has at least 9 before the age of 24 and has tied or surpassed Kobe (Kobe had 9,) for 3rd most 25/5/5 before the age of 24 all time.

When people make statements like that, they are always talking about the four major men's sports leagues: NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB.

The Thunder and the Pacers were Nos. 1 and 3 in fewest turnovers per game during the season. Boston and Cleveland were also in the Top 4.

Our biggest issue so far. Randle, ANT and Rudy being elite for that. Only Mike is great for not turning the ball but he is 38 years old....
