We would/could. Only hangup would be if we needed to include his salary in a trade, which I don't see being the case.

Regardless, I don't see him being dealt. This is only chatter because people are too impatient in this immediate news generation.

Considering the Wolves just paid $625k for part of his buyout it's a bit late for that sort of thing. If only the new york sports media, and pubic, didn't think they were entitled to everything. No Ricky, and now, no Nemanja

And as for the comments he made to Sid about it being a "done deal," yeah the contract is agreed upon because even if we do trade him it'd probably be in a sign and trade deal.

When Flip was trying to shop him around the league he sold him to the media/fanbase as Robbie Hummel. Now that he's hyping him up for arrival he's throwing things like Schrempf and top 12 pick out there.

Can Bjelica come close to what Kirilenko did for us in his season. Minus the injuries of course.

I'd say that in Bjelica's prime he may show the diverse offensive/passing game AK did, but probably never going to be considered a "plus" defender.

Offensive game is supposed to be impressive tho.

Worth noting that the 3-year MLE is roughly $17.1 million.

I am so excited for this roster. Bjelica will provide some much-needed shooting & offensive versatility.

He should help space the floor big time for the second unit. :)

I almost feel mad or offended. Seems like the man got ripped off, that deal is peanuts. If he is at all a serviceable player that we rely upon he is underpaid. Derrick freaking Williams is making more than him. Flip is slaying it in the front office. I have heard a AK47 comparison when it comes to offense and I can't imagine he's that good but if he is halfway there, that is huge. AK was a major benefit on the floor with our teams. If this guy can board, hit permiter shots, move the rock, and create his own shot, its gold. That's a huge asset.

Very excited, I wish we could get a look at him in summer league.

He's already a better offensive player than AK because he has the same feel and court awareness as well as much better jumper. He's more skilled on that end, just not quite as strong and athletic.

Can't decide which I'm trying to forget more, the Wes Johnson pick or the jerseys.

Someone RT'd an old Zgoda tweet from a couple years ago where Zgoda said he didn't think Bjelica would ever be NBA ready.

Zgoda being Zgoda.

Wes Johnson. At least those jerseys had the cool number font - now the rest of the jersey....woof. But I actually have a soft place in my heart for that number font.

I bet there's a player option on the 3rd year, there's no way you get this guy on a 3 year deal for this money if there is no clause helping him get more if he pans out.
