I don't get it either, and the only real argument I ever see is because his handles are poor. For some reason Wolves fans can't rap their heads around the PG and SF being the primary ball handlers with the SG playing off the ball.

It's tough to envision when the guys filling those roles currently are Ridnour, Flynn and Beasley.

Reminiscent of Warriors fans hyping Randolph's good game against Dwight Howard.

This feels a bit harsh, but also on target.

I mean Wes Johnson's 10.0 PER is below Corey Brewer's career average. He hasn't shown anything in regards to being a SG at this point.

Even Flynn had a more promising rookie year.

I actually wonder if Wes should be more of 3/4 than a 2/3, I think that's actually what Draft Express had him listed as prior to the draft. He could probably penetrate better against some slower defenders. He's got the length and athleticism to play bigger than he is.

Johnson has scored 5 points or less 25 times this year!!!

Flynn scored 5 points or less ONCE last year.

Agree. He should be Shawn Marion 2.0.

I'm still reading several reports that Enes Kanter is undersized for the center position. I'm not going to lie and claim I know much about the guy when I obviously don't, but this has been supposedly a huge red flag for the guy, and I just don't see what they're basing this off of.

I think it could work at the 2 if he were put in more advantageous positions. I'd be interested in seeing what would happen if he were allowed to take his defender down onto the block more often. His size isn't an advantage on offense if he spends all his time 20+ feet away from the basket.

In general it seems like the Wolves do a horrible job of utilizing their potential mismatches. Tough to win when everybody's go to move is jump shot no more than one dribble from where they stand.

Wes needs to be used like Reggie was in IND. Set some fricking screens for the guy so he can get open, yeesh. His jumper is the purest and he has the fastest release on the team. Right now they make him receive the the ball at the 3 point line and try to shake his defender on his own. Not his strong suit.

I just read on the ESPN Insider (special thanks to RC) that UNC coach Roy Williams told Harrison Barnes that he would likely be drafted anywhere from 5 to 11.

The guy seems pretty smart, I'm pretty sure he can read and knows how to get on the internet. I'm gonna guess that he'll get a second opinion.

If that's how it ends I would package everything possible but Rubio (assuming we don't land Irving), Love and our own pick to get in position for him.

This would actually encourage me to go pro if I heard that. It just looks like the coach is just blatantly lying to the kid who practically led the teams tournament run. It's not like he's the only coach who would do this given the same situation, and in his defense we didn't get a chance to hear the whole meeting, but it just sounds like he has no interest in Barnes' future.

I am not sure he is wrong. Barnes stock has gone down. He cannot create off the dribble and is clearly a 3 not a 2. I could see him slipping to the 5-10.

Gone down since when? I think he's a lock top 5 pick.
