Harris would definitely make this draft more interesting. Don't think he's going to declare though. If he improves on his game and gets 100% healthy (he's been injured most of the year, dealing with shoulder issues), he could become a top 5 pick in 2014 the way Bradley Beal managed to play himself into top 5 last year.

The odds of us trading our pick seem to grow stronger every day.

I'm afraid so. Looks like our best bet is to trade the pick for a proven vet. We could also explore the option of moving down to pick a late lotto talent + asset or see if Williams is even worth packaging with 9 to move up.

Part of me thinks if Pek deal doesn't happen, we'll draft a C.

there's a 95% chance a Pek stays here. He wants to be back. Adelman wants him back. And a team that HAS to push for the playoffs next year isn't going to do it with a rookie project center.

With all these guys staying I wouldn't be mad if we took Giannis with our pick at this point.

According to Draftexpress on Twitter, Gary Harris, Glenn Robinson III and Mitch McGary have decided tostay for another year in the NCAA.

There are no one I really want with our pick now. I guess if we go down to the 15-20 range, I'd want McCollum, Dieng or Giannis, but that's about it. I think we will trade our pick for a veteran now.

imo we have to take the best of whatever's available between shabazz, oladipo, porter, and Mccollum.

My nightmare is McCollum sneaking into the top 8 off of solid workouts and dreams of him being another Lillard.
If Porter, McCollum, Shabazz, McLemore, Noel, Oladipo are all gone, we're looking at a bunch of guys at positions we have covered.

Why is everyone in love with Mcollum?

He's another undersized shooting guard who is probably best as a 6th man. Which is what shveds role will be.

And he wasnt even that good a shooter over his college career, he started off hto in the beginning of the year but who knows if that wouldve been sustainable.

Would rather take Shabazz, Caldwell-pope, Giannis, or Dieng over that dude.

Not trrying to have another little shooting guard who wont be able to defend.

It will be interesting to see if we can find takers for the pick at this point. This is turning into a terrible class.

So...

Trade our pick & Williams for Charlotte's pick & select McLemore. Trade Ridnour & Memphis pick to Utah for Warriors pick and select Steven Adams to develop as a defensive complement behind Pek.

Rubio/Barea/Shved
McLemore/Shved
Kirilenko/Budinger
Love/Cunningham/Kirilenko
Pekovic/Stiemsma/Adams

According to draftexpress TWolves will take Tim Hardaway and Glen Rice in 2nd round, that would've sounded much better 15 years ago, but I am not minding this today either. Hope they would live 33% of their names atleast wherever they go.
I think we might be overseeing 2nd round overall, especially in draft that is fully unpredictable from 1st to 60th pick.

Personally, I'm preparing for the worst.

Someone will overpay Pekovic and Glen wants to sell the team. If someone offers a near max contract Glen will refuse to match to keep more flexibility for a new owner. It will be a very stupid decision but sadly I can see it coming.
