I am wondering how guy's like Randle feel about this. He is in a contract year and see Rudy get resigned make money dry up here.

Rudy has been the backbone of a 56-win team and WCF team and completely changed the identity of a no-defensive team around KAT with the best defense we have seen in a couple seasons in the NBA.

And you comment about how Randle, a player who joined the Timberwolves one month ago, feels? What the **** has Randle done in Minnesota? Hasn't Randle not played in the NBA since JANUARY of 2024 [10 months]?

I read it to mean that when your teammates are all sacrificing money to stay on a team, does it influence your decision?

I agree with your point that it will likely take some time for Randall to decide whether he wants to be here, and time for the Wolves to decide if they want to keep him. But Gobert (and Conley and Naz) could have a positive ripple effect in contract negotiations. And technically, Randle is eligible for an extension today, if he declines next year’s player option.

That is great. Basically, we get two extra years of Gobert for appx 32mil a year and cap relief next year. Assuming Randle is near All-Star level (Gordon level), he will get a contract around $30mil.

I agree. If we have to pay 35M/Year to extend this guy, I'm expected much more than what i saw yesterday. But he is back from injury and need time to adjust to his new team. if he is still that bad in 20 games, i will be worry...
