LOL.

Rudy has been the backbone of a 56-win team and WCF team and completely changed the identity of a no-defensive team around KAT with the best defense we have seen in a couple seasons in the NBA.

And you comment about how Randle, a player who joined the Timberwolves one month ago, feels? What the **** has Randle done in Minnesota? Hasn't Randle not played in the NBA since JANUARY of 2024 [10 months]?

I read it to mean that when your teammates are all sacrificing money to stay on a team, does it influence your decision?

I agree with your point that it will likely take some time for Randall to decide whether he wants to be here, and time for the Wolves to decide if they want to keep him. But Gobert (and Conley and Naz) could have a positive ripple effect in contract negotiations. And technically, Randle is eligible for an extension today, if he declines next year’s player option.

Lol! I did it both ways! Thanks though - I’ll try to remember. Randle like Handle.

And I caught myself before I posted the word “John” in another post. Yeesh!

You all misunderstand Shrank.

Forgetting/mangling/mispronouncing names is a rhetorical power move one uses to assert their dominance and bait passive-aggressive correcting behavior.
These are high level techniques.
To do it properly you have to be in the ballpark though.
Calling a Kevin "Ken" - briliant
Calling a Kevin "Gilbert" - not so much.

That is great. Basically, we get two extra years of Gobert for appx 32mil a year and cap relief next year. Assuming Randle is near All-Star level (Gordon level), he will get a contract around $30mil.

If I'm Julius, I'm not sure I take $30 million. I think I'm gunning for closer to $35-40 million.

Is it possible that Slink is just getting old?
From a fundamental standpoint it is better for a man to have nothing but be under the protection of Jesus Christ than for him to have everything he could ever want yet be completely without.

Maybe, but his last game effort and basketball awareness is closer to Chinese League effort and awareness.

I am not kidding. Randle is 29yo, Gilbert Arenas moved to china when he was 30yo, Stephon Marbury moved to china when he was 32yo, J.R. Smith went during lockout, Michael Beasley 24 and 29yo, Lance Stephenson 29yo.

Randle without effort does not have role in NBA, plain and simple. He has Tobias Harris height and wingspan, but does not have consistent jumpshot to play stretch four role.

I agree. If we have to pay 35M/Year to extend this guy, I'm expected much more than what i saw yesterday. But he is back from injury and need time to adjust to his new team. if he is still that bad in 20 games, i will be worry...

According to history, it's worse than KAT but let's hope he turn it around.
